I just heard the local radio forecast say up to 10" in the mountains tonight. With a chance of snow in the valleys.

If you are coming into town tomorrow, please make sure to allow for some additional travel time.

And make for 8-9 men in the box due to less down the field passing. I like it too. :) Although Lulay has a lot of experience with this weather so we'll be passing down the field :)

Homefield advantage versus the dome team.

It seems strange to be talking about a weather advantage over a team from FARGO. Maybe they practiced outside this week.

They always practice outside. But the fact remains they play half their games every season without weather.

I've been thinking about this. I don't think it's the weather but the Turf. Turf teams tend to have trouble with Grass. I think the Litterbox has green dirt so this may be a problem for NDSU. Now Spin turf teams don't have a problem with grass just big divots :D

MSU has had a very nice field (early games of season) for the last 4-5 years. Very well taken care off. It will be mud by the end of this game though I bet so it will be Green Mud for Homecoming :)

It's Sprin not Spin. Although you maybe trying to spin something here.

Actually it is Sprinturf (pronounced Sprint Turf).

Practice field

Post by stickerguy » Sat Sep 24, 2005 2:10 am

I've played a couple of games on NDSU's practice field and it is also turf, so practicing outside might does not help them much in the soup.

A grass surface makes no difference to the Bison. It sure didn't at NW State....

The drive from Billings was a little wet. I saw about 4 NDSU cars (I was only able to ram 2 of them off the road  ) on the interstate. Little cold this morning, but it should be more then warm enough to watch a football game! :D

I dont mind the rain but our running game at this point has yet to prove we can win by running it down anyones gullet.

Can we get a nice sunny day so Travis can light up the other teams secondary. Maybe our Hawaii running back would thrive in the warm weather.

And another thing those NDSu queers were running around our campus with their jerseys and jeans on yesterday. (It's not high school fellas, you are in Div 1 now you dont have to wear your jerseys to school)

I believe NSU does not have grass.
