I'd hope the NDSU QB is better than the SFA QB and the Wideouts don't drop 10 passes (Ok I hope the cat Wideouts don't drop 10 passes either)

Weather report?

Most of the drops were in the 4th quarter against SFA ... game was already over. MSU pretty much just manhandled them for first 2.5 quarters and then slammed the door in the 4th. Now if your talking INT's then yeah, NDSU QB can for sure throw some more of those for us :)

i sure hope he likes to play football in the cold, historically dome teams dont do as well outdoors...just ask Peyton Manning
Northwestern fans tried to make that excuse about weather and dome teams......guess it didn't pan out for them :?

BTW, NDSU practices outside-we have seen all the cold weather you have up to this point.

I don't want to say you would be jumping off the bandwagon but you guys seem to lose faith pretty quick, especially after you spent all that time talking up your team.

I think the Cats get back on track this week.

MSU over NDSU 35-21.
Considering all of the Griz fans I have met, including Griz in the family, I would have to say you show some of the most class. Griz or Bobcat, I don't think it's seen too often these days. So THANK YOU! Being an athlete myself a respectable supporter of ATHLETICS is always great to find.

GO CATS!!!

The NDSU defense disrupts the MSU passing game, neutralizing it to an average day. They hold the running game to a sub par day.

NDSU puts a powerful running game up against a suspect running D and has some success.

They enjoy an average passing day and Washington provides them with great field position.

But MSU is at home in front of a record crowd. Both teams are well coached it a close call but Im saying NDSU by 1.

Tough, close hard fought game. Huge crowd behind the home team. Cats win 28-21. We finally see Bass break a big one.

Go CATS!!

I think as long as NDSU doesn't watch the Cal Poly tape the Cats should be fine.
You guys have been Cats fans long enough to know:

Cat 31
NDSU 13
weather should help, remember SFA

and then next week Kramer and Bailey will give us a huge letdown at Homecoming.

I believe the Cats fans heads are in the clouds (or in the sand) The Bison will be underestimated and have a resounding 37-10 WIN. The Bison have not been challenged yet this season and I dont believe the Cats will compete, because this season they are just simply not that good... I just hear excuses for losses coming from the Cat fans. I guess Sat. night we'll know for sure who is or isn't a fluke.

thunder,
give some credit, hanging with OSU and beating the hell out of SFA couldn't have been done by a team that "isn't that good"

Bisonblunder,
So beating a DII team that noone has ever heard of and is now 1-3 on the season justifies your ranking? Beating a BSC cellar dweller in Weber State justifies your ranking? Ya, so you had a good win against Northwestern. From what I heard you didn't so much as dominate the game as capitalize on errors from the other team.
But, hey, overconfidence works for me. Bring it! Saturday at supper you'll be wondering "How did we just get beat so bad?" and "Maybe DII is a better place for us after all!"

We all know the Bison are a solid team, and the 'Cats are sometimes spectacular and sometimes miserable. That makes prediction a major pain. I'll have to take some home field advantage here.

Great a little emotion! My statements were RELATIVE...ie.not AS good. It wasnt meant as a below the belt shot. I was just expressing the idea that possibly the Bobcats are not the team they could be or have been. It is a team event and the Bison have been playing as such, very well balanced, as I hope you will see Sat. I stated the Bison have not been challenged this year, either by a pipsqueak ARK school, Cellar Dweller BSC, or ranked Northwestern State. None of the games were ever in question from the kickoff. My last statement was a general one about a Fluke. Maybe NDSU destroys MSU and my assumption is correct or maybe MSU dismantles NDSU and we have to reconsider ourselves. Anyway, Im excited and plan on having a great time in Bozeman at the game.

BTW barechestcat--I thought a mark of a great team was to capitalize on the other teams mistakes. Also, they shut our run game down completely and yet we still manhandled Northwestern State. I believe taking a knee at the 3yd line on first and goal in the last minutes of the game was pretty classy and the Bison didnt point pound like they could have. Also, I wouldnt say "overconfidence", just confidence.

Before we played Weber, some people were even predicting Weber would come to the Fargodome and beat us because they were much improved from last year. I do believe they are much improved from last year ( they did put up 17pts against Fresno), but all of a sudden after the Bison shut them out the same people are now suggesting Weber is going to get walked over by every team in the BSC. Which is it going to be? I just can't imagine they are destined to go 1-10 again.

I am leaving Fargo around noon on Friday and driving to Billings. Should be a good time tailgating with you cats. :)
