Players of the Game Tonight:

Offense: Chaz Guinn
Defense: Ryan Force
Sp. Teams: Grant Elliott

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.

Guinn catches everything thrown at him - going back to last season. He only got thrown to twice last night and WAS open more than that. He is a perfect go to guy. Murray made some good plays but he also dropped some balls - early mostly. By the time he started holding on to the ball (and, yes, he had some great catches late) the game was out of reach.

Travis really needs to just play ball. He needs to use his instincts and just have fun out there. He's smart, he's athletic, he's competitive. He is overthinking and beating himself. Please, Travis - don't doubt yourself. You are all that, give yourself a break.

If we can't give Travis time he can't find receivers, and if we don't have receivers that will uncover he may need about 20 seconds! I don't agree that Gatewood might have made a difference last night by stretching the field, because it appeared as if CP had 15 guys out there against us. It seemed like every receiver was doubled. Their scheme is just superior to most other teams, and if you play them only once a year they are very hard to prepare for...add to that that we folded our tents as soon as we failed to stop their offense, and you get a small blowout.

We need to stgart attacking on defense...and start being physical on offense if that's possible. Start (figuratively) "punching some people in the face"
