Lulay out for game vs Cal Poly

Post by SloStang » Sat Sep 17, 2005 11:04 am

He is playing, just thought I would see how many hearts I could make skip a beat in the state of Montana. If anything he is out to end the six game losing streak to the Mustangs. I think it will be a great game and wish you luck.

Go Mustangs

It's been tried by many in the past.

And unfortunately, slo, it'd be your only hope!

 :D

Good one Slo. It did make me sit down. Good luck to you guys as well and check in here during the game if you aren't going. We have a gameday thread that can be a lot of fun (Unless Gato's buddy  bearassed shows up).

El Gato,

It was meant to be in good fun. I do not think it is our only chance, although I am concerned with the damage he can do. Poly has a great defense, but are vulnerable to a mobil QB.

The difference in this game for Cal Poly is they have a vastly improved offense. I hear a lot of talk on this board about MSU's receivers, but I think Cal Poly's can play with any group in the country. This year we have a QB that can get the ball to them and a stable full of good running backs. Last year year Anthony Garnett did not play against MSU, this year he is. It is to a lesser degree like the difference in MSU's offense with and without Travis Lulay.

As far as the defense, Poly's is one of the best in I-AA and yes they are better than last year. It should be a great game with MSU's offense led by Walter Payton finalist Travis Lulay, against Poly's defense led by Buck Buchanan finalist Chris Gocong. May the better team win.

WYCAT,

I would not miss this game even if I had to quit my job to go, which would also mean a probable divorce. I will be back after the game, win or lose, and wish the Bobcat good luck with the rest of their season.

Stang,

I'm certain that the better team WILL win today. And I took no offense at your attempt to shock us.

Good luck. You're going to need it.

El Gato,

Right back at you. I think you and the Bobcats will need good luck to come out of this game with a win. The Mustang defense puts a lot of preasure form all over the field and forces very good offenses into very bad mistakes. I sincerely wish the you and the Bobcats nothing but success the rest of the season. I think Krammer is a class act. This might not be the only time we see the Bobcats this year, there is always the playoffs. I hope to see you there.

But will you admit it if Cal Poly wins. I will if Montana State does.

I caught on the first time. I will be man enough to admit it if the Bobcats win but it does not sound like you will when the Mustangs win. I was just looking for some good discussion about the game. Once again, good luck.

If you win, you will be the BEST TEAM.

The winner of this game WILL go into the playoffs and should be considered a solid contender to make the final 8.
