I used to cook at the Oasis, and my personal favorite is the cheeseburger or the finger steaks, no matter what you have, you will never leave hungry.

go cats,
How long ago was it that you cooked at the Oasis? I was wondering if Scott still hand cuts his steaks?

Here's a list of my favorite places to eat that are also BIG TIME Bobcat sponsors:

Ferraro's
Spectators
GranTree
Santa Fe Reds

By the way if you are looking for the best hamburger in Bozeman, it is found at the GranTree!!! With out a doubt. Plus on Saturday you can get a burger and beer for like $7.00, well worth the money.

Oh also not many have commented on this but I cannot see the Nimby's on the south side ever approving a hotel. They can't even be pursuaded to realize that a grocery store would be postive addition to "their" side of town.

It was about 10 years ago, and yes he still handcuts everything, makes his own burger as well. My mom still does all the prep work there. That homemade chocalate sauce on the ice cream for dessert is hers. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy  :D

The best all around place to stay in Bozeman is the GranTree Inn. Good rates, good food and the bar in the GranTree is great. They have the best service and wait staff in town! It's a fun place!

How's this for a recommendation. I had a friend from Albuquerque come into town and we did the Ale Works on the first night. Next evening, I asked him where he wanted to go. His response, "Santa Fe Red's" (he had been before). This from a guy who absolutely hates anything that claims to be south of the Colorado border.

You know what hasn't shown up on this board yet that I was thinking about today? The Soup Shack's Blue Moose Clam Chowder. That has to be one of the best menu items in Bozeman. Careful though that stuff is addicting!

rtb,
I live in Bozeman and don't even know about the Soup Shack. Where is it located?
I love a good soup place in the winter.

For breakfast, I spaced Brandys'. South end of the "Cats Paw".

Long night at the bars & looking for a gutfull before the game? - chicken fried steak, hashbrowns & eggs- can't beat it. My other choices for breakfast is the Western on East Main or as mentioned earlier, the Korner Cafe at 4 Corners.
