Flag

Post by GoCats18 » Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:38 pm

I have been wanting to bring my Bobcat flag to the games, but I am not sure if they would let me in with the pole that I have as it is pretty big and would probably be considered a weapon. Does anyone know where you can buy collapsable flag poles or what kind of flag pole you could bring into the stadium? Thanks

I'd probably recommend calling the Athletic Dept.

I had a 20 foot piece of steel 2" pipe for my flagpole that I brought it when I tailgated (2009) and they didn't care. :D

I actually asked somebody in Athletics about this after going to the Utah game and seeing all of them. Told me as long as it was a collapsible flagpole and you were just using it after scores and such it should be fine. Now, whether the overzealous security guys would say the same I don't know, but that was what I was told. Unfortunately I never actually found a collapsible flagpole myself.
