How many Bobcat fans are coming to SLO?

Should be a great game. How many fans do you expect to make the trip? Make sure you have your tickets because seating is down to 7,500 due to renovations.

It doesn't look like there will be many Bobcat fans at the game. It is to bad, it is going to be a great game. It is the only game this week between I-AA ranked teams.

You can count on a large contingent of fans down there. A lot of player families hit the away games as well as some of our less internet savvy fans. Most of us here on BN will be stuck in front of the T.V. though.

That is good to hear. I think anyone who makes the trip will find SLO much like Bozeman, small college town in a beautiful setting. They will also find most Mustang fans will welcome them. Unfortunately there is no tailgating. I just hope the Mustang football team isn't as welcoming to the Bobcat's team. Should be a great game either way.

No tailgating?? What, is your school a Nazi school?? :P IN all seriousness though, why???

First Cal Poly is a dry campus and secondly there are no large parking lots near the stadium. Cal Poly administration realized that not having a place for donars to gather before the game was hurting donations. Instesd of openning the campus to tailgating, they have a BBQ including alchol in a roped off area on a lawn just north of the stadium for prefered season ticket holders. I am a prefered season ticket holder, but wish they would open the campus for tailgating to improve the game day atmosphere. Last year they sold beer at baseball games and there was talk about doing the same at football games this year, but it has not happened yet. At least it should be a good game. See you there.
