Absolutely on the money with this one. Griz fans have no reason to have a hatered for Kramer(besides being a rival), while Hauck has given cat fans every reason to hate him.I have read this thread with considerable amusement. It is interesting to me that the opinions of Hauck are so strong in Bobcat-land towards Bobby. Outside of a couple of pin headed Griz fans, I don't think the same level of hatred is felt towards Kramer by most Griz fans.
One would have to wonder, then, why there is such furor over the head coach of their rival school. Of course, the answer is evident.
Bobby conducts himself in a manner which invites the criticsm he gets from Bozeman. His childish antics relating to the Bobcats, his refusal to house the team in Bozeman, his refusal to even mention the Bozeman school by name, shows the world of his deep immaturity level. This is just another reason why he should have never been named head coach in the first place. And, Kramer plays Bobby like a drum with the psychological games come Griz/Cat time. This makes it even more painful to me.
Bobby has surrounded himself with so many Haucks in the football program that one might consider re-naming the team "Big Timber West". The nepotism is atrocious. But, insecure people try to surround themselves with friendly people, to deflect criticsm and gain security.
I frankly don't understand why so many Griz fans don't have the ability to recognize Bobby for what he is. I'm quite ceratin that they would be all over him, just like the Cat fans are, if he were coaching in Bozeman instead of for the home team.
I just want a head coach representing my school who shows some class. Like Urban Meyer, like Joe Glenn, like Mark Richt, or so many others. Instead, we live with an immature, spoiled, spokesperson for our program who has difficulty ever taking the blame for the failures of his team.....who fails to give the opponent his due in defeat.....and, who comes across more like a recreation league football coach than the leader of the most visible IAA football program in the nation.
I must say that I am often ashamed of my bretheran Griz fans who grant unabashed support to Bobby, even though they know, down deep in their gut, that he is not the image that we all want for our football program.

The more I think about it the more Cat fans should actually like Hauck. If I remember correctly it was Hauck and his refusal to give any respect to the Cats that decided to be the only Big Sky coach, in the second half of the 2003 season, dumb enough to kick to Corey Smith. And we all know how that turned out. And this you can look up. He said on his show the week prior that his special teams were not going to do anything special or different than they had done all year. He seemed to have changed his tune on the second kick-off.
The devil made me do it the first time... the second time I done it on my own.

This thread is now 7 pages long. Quite a statement for the pervasive feelings regarding a head football coach. But, also very revealing.

Okay, I have responded to UM2002's post on egriz as well as pm'd him here and on egriz. If I pulled the trigger too fast I apologize, but I have just been around message boards long enough to know there are many that lack any hint of sense of humor or logical thinking. All it would have taken is one such idiot to start taking these types of posts seriously to start causing problems...problems which I just don't want nor have time to deal with.
Good to know that with one simple action I am now considered by egrizzer's to be a board nazi on par with BAC though.

Used to think the same thing until I started moderating these boards. And this place is easy compared the crap that goes on in some of the really high traffic message boards.jagur1 wrote:3 people have taught me to hate all Moderators.

Okay, I'm just catching up ... I never read the smack board over there, but after knowing there was a thread giving us our props as mods, I searched it out.
It was pretty funny ... although I had to ask myself ... I suck what? Wow, I didn't realize I had either the natural ability nor the access to livestock, so this is all coming as a shock to me.
