Although Ahmad Carroll got the nod at the very end of training camp he was flagged 4 times on Sunday and it appears that he'll be benched. Here's the article;

Yep! That was Joey. I didn't see the game, just that highlight on ESPN and I think it was a zone cover that the LB missed. I am not making excuses, it could have been Joey's assignment, but I thought they blamed it on the LB on ESPN.
Did anyone watch the whole game? I want to know how Joey looked this week vs. last week.

Didn't see the game either, but saw this in an article:
Ouch. Sounds like it was Joey's man, but the deep help blew it also. To reitirate rtb's request, anybody see the game and notice how Joey did aside from this play?On an 80-yard touchdown catch and run, Browns rookie Braylon Edwards smoked cornerback Joey Thomas on a slant while rookie safety Nick Collins was blowing supporting coverage by biting on a run fake. On perhaps the game’s most critical play, Dilfer protected a precarious two-point lead in the final 3 minutes by converting a third-and-5 against Barnett’s middle blitz with a quick dump-off to halfback Reuben Droughns. The Browns then iced the game at 26-17 two plays later when tight end Steve Heiden broke safety Mark Roman’s tackle and scored on a 62-yard catch and run.
