What is on TomCat's iPod?
Seriously 9 Days and 8 Hours away, to kill some time we're keeping the game rolling. Ozzy suggested Tom as the next one so here we go. What's on TomCat's iPod?
My first guess:

Wow! I can’t believe how close you guys are. I’m absolutely floored by the post by LTown. I’ve never seen that, but that’s me to a T! I’ve listened to it three times this morning. Awesome! I have to get the blue-n-gold jacket the guy is wearing at the 2:21 mark. I got the ski pants to go with it for sure. Haha. I love almost any music from ski movies, especially Blizzard of Ahhhs. Frankie Goes to Hollywood (yikes, I know) is the key moment of that movie. Very 80s. Here’s that clip from Blizzard of Ahhhs that explains why:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Scot Schmidt the first guy to go is from Helena and a year older than me (I helped get him inducted into the Helena Sports HOF, long overdue); Glen Plake is the second guy to go and I usually see him every year up at Big Sky; the filmmaker and narrator is Greg Stump, who has also stopped by Big Sky; the music is Warriors in the Wasteland by FGTH (just realized that acronym is pretty close to being good), which I listen to on my way to the ski hill every single time I go skiing, bar none.
Ozzy has Aerosmith in there. My favorite band since back in the 70s and all three of those songs blared out of the juke box when I worked at the R Bar. I think I may have hand-picked them 45s myself. I’m an Eagles fan, too, so Don Henley, yeah I get the Dirty Laundry reference rtb, is good. Skynyrd is in there and I’m very flattered by Call Me the Breeze from MashTun. A lot truer about 15 years ago, but I still log many, many miles on the road. George Strait is good, but I’m still stuck on Waylon and Willie.
Alpha may have said it best with sandwich, since I hate to admit it, but I have no iPod. I’ve gone the Slacker route and have Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Dr. Dre and Frankie Goes to Hollywood stations all locked in. Nice job!

I'd take anything -- an icy, rocky, two inches about 50 feet long -- right now. Fortunately we've had the stadium project this summer to keep us distracted.grizzh8r wrote:LTown Cat wrote:Soundtrack for...
