I would not give a flying football if Krammer respects the Griz or not.
Last time I checked Hauck coaches UofM and even if STATE paid him a lot of money- he would not coach there. WHATS WRONG WITH THAT!!!!
You guys sound like the Gang Bangers that Kill someone and then when asked why they say "He did not respect me" WHO CARES!!!!
As stated before (and I know you dont want to hear this) Hauck is REALLY REALLY SMART- Hes got you all in such a lather you cant think straight!!!!
I could care less if Hauck respects us or not, all we are saying is that he is a dick. After we beat you guys in Missoula at least Joe Glen showed a little class and said they got beat by a better team that day. Hauck has no concept of showing class.
Haucks classless dickhead moments
- Calling us State, because MSU doesn't deserve the Montana
- Driving right through Bozeman and staying in Livingston, because as he
said, "we won't even take a piss in that town, or put a cent into thier
economy"
- After MSU beats him in Bozeman, all we here is excuse after excuse
after excuse.
-
At a family dinner, a relative shows up w/ a MSU hat on. Hauck takes
the hat outside and pisses on it."Its one thing to have a hatred for your rival, and its another thing to be a complete arrogant a$$. But then again, what else would you expect from a griz.
*sounds like bay area cat*

I heard the hat story right from the source...an ex-Cat athlete- not naming names, but true story.

Those allegations certainly would qualify him as a dick in virtually anyone's book. However, we still run into the problem of rumor vs. fact. I'm perfectly willing to believe the worst about him if I got any level of confirmation that these things actually happened.
Do you happen to have any documentation/support for any of these things? Did you hear him say or see him do any of these things, or know somebody who did who could verify that it really happened and wasn't just a wild rumor? Are any of the comments published anywhere by a news outlet?
Again, I'm not trying to defend Hauck, I'm just dying to get some hard evidence that some of this stuff actually happened. Until I do, I'm stuck having to assume that this guy is becoming a mythic character beyond what his station in life should even allow.

Was that person there ... or did he just hear about it from someone else (who may have heard about it from someone else, and so on)?

Any chance you could ask your friend to ask her friend to sign up on here and share the story first-hand?
If nothing else, it would increase our registered user base a bit.

It actually involves this former athletes family and it is not my place to mention anything, but rest assured that it is a true story- right from his mouth.

I know about this story, and I believe that it did indeed happen. I regret however I cannot and will not divulge this person’s name.

Do you think the two of us just made up a wild story about Hauck? If I was going to make up a story I would think of something a lot better than that. Re-read the welsch article, Hauck pretty much dismisses the fact that he has a relative who is a cat fan.

People..People, listen to your selves..you just got through outplaying a D1 Opponent, have a huge game on Saturday and you are OBSESSING over something Hauck may or may not have done during a (probably drunk) family get-to-gather who knows how long ago?? Sooo none of you guys have ever done something stupid “under the influence”?? And all of this indignation from a crew with avatars that have Calvin pissing on a Griz, ftg , nuke Missoula, Eat S### Grizzlies, etc. as their signatures. You don’t need more of a reason to hate Hauk, worry about your own teams’ great future, spend less time on Coach Hauck and what’s on the local McDonalds cup this week…sheesh..

Kind of along the same lines as an earlier post of mine -- any chance that the former Cat athlete themselves could be coaxed into signing up and giving us the first person perspective, or is it something that they would rather not talk about before the masses (which I totally understand, although the story is already being circulated in the masses as it is).
Apologies for sounding like a hack journalist, but I'd just much prefer hearing things first person as opposed to reading things that people have heard a generation or two removed.

That is fine Brad, but maybe you didn't hear me...it involves family- a little touchy to talk about.

..and I'll bet he wasn't the only coach, from many different schools, that has done something like that before...btw isn't there an assistant cat coach that have personalized plates that say "FTG"?? Where's the outrage over that?? Maybe that's just another "urban legend".

That's the part I totally understand. I guess that's the rub -- can one spread a story that defames someone else while not disclosing any of the other actors in the story out of a desire to protect family? I guess they can, but it just makes it really hard for anyone else to confirm the story.
So I did hear you, but I also said that many people (me included) won't be able to accept it as fact (whether anyone cares or not) unless they have something more than a friend of a friend representation that it happened. But once the story got posted on a public message board, these kinds of questions are going to be asked.
We're between a rock and a hard place on this one, it appears.
