Challenge to the Griz

Post by BobCatFan » Wed Sep 07, 2005 6:06 pm

For all the Griz fans who purchased season tickets to the MSU games, I have a request. I am requesting that you find a charity that is setup to help Bozeman / Belgrade kids and donate you tickets to them. I know you will not donate the Cat/Griz tickets, but you can donate the other tickets.

I couple of good organizations would be Kiwanis, Eagle Mount, or the Women's Shelter (is there still one in town?). I am sure other members of the board can make some good suggestions too.

If you have other friends or family members with tickets, please tell them too.

Big Brothers/Sisters of Gallatin County is happy to take them as well, if there are indeed any Griz fans who bought season tickets and don't plan on actually attending most of the games.

That is a great idea. Some ex-Griz football players started an organization called GrizKidz this year where any unused tickets can be dropped off a various places so kids who might not otherwise get a chance to go to games can.
It seems they mentioned the number that came to the ft.lewis game, but I don't recall how many.
Excellent way to keep the stands full, and get tickets in the hands of people who would really enjoy the experience of a college football game.

Or contact your local JC chapter and they should be able to hook up your tickets to families or individuals who might not otherwise be able to go. PM me if you need help with a contact in the Bozeman area.
