Oh, I didn't watch the video. The article portion is basically debunking all that things the this Harold Camping guy is predicting. He (Camping) makes a lot of assumptions and vague interpretations to come up with the date May 21st, 2011. Just found it interesting, coming from another Christian.ilovethecats wrote:what's worse:CelticCat wrote:http://www.lamblion.com/articles/articles.php

JESUS was asked of the day and HE said no one knows, not HIM, only the FATHER knows.....That poor sap that made the prediction will be trying to think of some logical explanation and will be stumbling over himself to make some sense out of his prediction.....I am going to a Grand-daughters 8th grade graduation in Petaluma on the 27th and then will be heading for Coeur d' Alene on the 3rd for another Grand-daughters HS graduation on the 10th.....See ya all around later.....

Best signs at the Fargo Marathon today were "Worst Rapture Day Parade EVER" And the guy standing just as we turned into the Dome dressed in a grim reaper costume with a sign that said "The end is near"

Well, it doesn't look like very many people made the cut. I certainly didn't.

I'm just amazed that there are so many people out there that ACTUALLY believe this crap. I mean, how f'n stupid can a person be? Usually I competely respect other people and their beliefs... but not with stuff this idiotic. I guess we'll find out in another 70 minutes or so...
Then these idiots will just say it was a miscalculation and stand by for the next date they throw out there. I'm going to think up some kind of stupid idiotic prediction and see how many people I can get to buy into it.

i agree. and once i get past the joke of it all, it's actually quite scary. i mean, by all accounts these are regular people with regular jobs. they can be teaching my kids, or performing surgeries! some are in politics, lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc. and how about the people stupid enough to spend all their money for this cause. the yahoo who started all this and his little radio operation is worth more than 100 million, and it all comes from donations! that means there are enough crazy people out there to raise huge amounts of money. sure, we could spend it on our horrible schools in this country but those donations are definitely better off going to yet another ridiculous doomsday claim. i have actually found myself getting pretty annoyed today.catatac wrote:I'm just amazed that there are so many people out there that ACTUALLY believe this crap.
