Good first half, cats have come out flat in the second half...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

What a shock. This team has not figured out how to play well in the second half on the road yet this season.

Wow. What a terrible second half. Eric Rush had 2 turnovers inbounding, missed most of his freethrows, and just played very sloppy overall. This team looks like a Mick Durham coached team out there. Shoot a lot of threes and play bad defense. Next we'll get slaughtered by a bad UCLA team (by their standards), and start off the conference season at home against arguably the best team in the league, Weber (though they looked out of sync without Damian Lillard when he went out with an injury in a loss to Tulsa last week). This year is looking like another disappointing one, probably ending up somewhere around .500 again. Ugh.

A 94-54 romping of Southwest is not a good indication of how "Life Without Lillard" will be, a true test for us lies on tuesday when BYU comes to town.

Kinda funny, our next games are against teams who just played each other. MSU vs UCLA and WSU vs BYU :D

I look for us to play better in conference when the rotations are set and it's for keeps....

i hope so. i'm really trying to be optimistic but i think this team has so many questions. be nice if it was one of those years where no one is expecting much and the cats shock everyone and perform very well in the conference. [-o<

We didn't shoot well, and UCR shot 54% from the field, and 58% from beyond the arc. You won't lose many games shooting like that. Reid and Tor Anderson both sat out the game with injuries as well. We rebounded well, and had 14 offensive boards. We just went cold in the second half, unfortunately that is turning into a theme for the year.

I think the team could be a good conference team, but we still have to figure some things out.
