Hopefully it was enough to hold on to the start!

It was -- he's still the starter. The Lions released Printers - the previous starter.

He lead the team to a big win last week in Calgary -- amazingly, they still have a chance at the CFL playoffs

You can even vote for him as your favorite Lion here:

Lions pulled another win out this weekend vs Saskatchewan to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The team isn't dominating but they are definitely not going away. Lulay's numbers haven't been dazzling but he's minimized his turnovers which were killing his team earlier this year. Watch out for this team the rest of the year and again next year! :D

nice mention in the write-up:
"Lulay, the second-year quarterback who has taken over the starting position following the release of Casey Printers, showed poise all game. He was able to hook up with Arceneaux and Geroy Simon on some big passes, but BC had trouble finishing drives."

21-29, 204 yds, 1TD 0 INT

Hey that's the first article I've seen all year when they didn't refer to him as a rookie. It's like the media up there forgot he played in 8 or so games last year.

BC's o'line has vastly improved along with Travis and that is probably the biggest difference between them winning and losing games. They definitely had 5 or 6 games they could have won had their o'line given Lulay more protection.

While maybe not Dickenson-esque, that's still a very respectable stat line, especially when you add in the "W".

Alive and in. Edmonton lost, so BC's win gets them in the CFL playoffs. Nice game for Travis. A 112.2 NFL QB rating.

Sounds like it was the Lulay of old feeling at home with a team like his old Bobcats:
"Our defence gave us a chance to win it," said quarterback Travis Lulay, who hit Emmanual Arceneaux for two touchdowns on his way to 424 passing yards in the game. He completed 30-of-41 pass attempts and also had an interception. "It was just a matter of us (to) keep plugging away and making plays and we did that."

Way to go Travis!
