I didn't listen to most of the game, but they were down 20 with 6 minutes left to go...not a bad score considering that the Cats were playing 8 men, and Nevada had two guys who could be in the NBA next season.

I'm trying to take a more measured approach to my men's basketball fandom this year. The non-conference season really is irrelevant, and unless you're in the race to host the league tournament, all you really need to do is get enough wins to make the league tournament. I think this team is going to be okay-but it will take a while to hit their stride. All pre-season they've missed too much practice time with illness and injury, and now we're missing Bynum and Navarre for a short stretch.
