Where will he play?
Now that Vick has been reinstated which team, if any, will he play for next year?
My guess. Jaguars.

He will go to the Patriots. Billiceck isn't afraid to pick up troubled players (Randy Moss) if he sees potential. And it's not like the pats are afraid of a little bad publicity...

There is no way in hell he goes to the Cowboys. Jerry has already said no. Thank God.

Re: Where will he play?
Is he really even good enough for anybody to ever put up with the protests and bad PR? He was a marginal QB at best.
I actually hope he gets a shot (and I think he's paid his debt to society and deserves a chance to remake his life and career), but it sure seems like it would be hard for any team to get excited about having him.

If he goes to the UFL and tears it up, some team will take a chance on him. And heck, bad publicity is still publicity...Bay Area Cat wrote:Is he really even good enough for anybody to ever put up with the protests and bad PR? He was a marginal QB at best.

Re: Where will he play?
Good point. He could definitely be a godsend to the UFL ... they just need names to put butts in seats, and he would do that. Even if people just pay to get in so they can hold up signs protesting him, it's all good.technoCat wrote:If he goes to the UFL and tears it up, some team will take a chance on him. I don't see where his "crime" was all that horrible. He did two years for killing some dogs. Stallworth will do no jail time for killing a person. Leonard Little Killed someone and he's back in tthe NFL. He should be welcomed back into the NFL without a suspension IMO

Stallworth did a month in jail and is on house arrest for 2 years. Not saying that that is enough or not.Hammer wrote:I don't see where his "crime" was all that horrible. Re: Where will he play?
Do you not agree what he did was a crime? i see you put that in quotes. I dont see how funding an illegal dog fighting ring is within the law, but maybe im missing something(he didnt go to jail for killing dogs.) Stallworth has already done time in jail, and will never have a drivers license. he also paid an undisclosed amount of money to the victims family. both sides agreed on that plea agreement, and as of now he is indefinately suspended from the nfl. I do believe vick should have a second chance, but dont blow this off like he did nothing wrong.Hammer wrote:I don't see where his "crime" was all that horrible. Re: Where will he play?
The best explanation for the difference between these two crimes was one I heard on ESPN radio. I believe it was Eric K. He said that Michael Vick woke up each morning knowing that he had/would commit a felony....Stallworth certainly did not wake up that morning planning on killing a person by driving drunk that night. That is a huge difference--Vick planned it, Stallworth did not.Hammer wrote:I don't see where his "crime" was all that horrible. He did two years for killing some dogs. I'm sure since he didn't plan on doing it, that makes the victim's family feel a lot better.
