Not good news for the Cats when it comes to Cat/Teddys this year. Teddys beat Boise the other night in Missoula.

We haven't done much this year in our program. With a new coach it takes a while to get things in order. We will get it together one of these days.

71-41 Boise with 13 minutes to play. Boise can't miss from three-point land. 10 of 13 so far. Cats in big-time foul trouble and a lot of turnovers again.

I like the schedule the Cats played this year. Most of the teams were either in a down year or beatable (not Fresno and we still get to play them one more time). Huse is upset that we don't have much time to practice between games but (IMHO) the teams we are playing are a good test for our young team.
This team has shown signs of being able to play (i.e. first half of the Wyoming game). It will certainly be a few years before we are competing for a conference championship again however.

Just got back from Taco Bell Arena. Wow, what an ugly game. We have a LOT of work to do - not that we didn't already know that. Dissly had a nice night, I really wish he was more aggressive like that on a consistent basis. Casey had a rough game, he didn't look like he was having a lot of fun out there. Overall, we are just soft, we have to get a lot tougher inside for us to be consistently good. That will come (not this year). My favorite thing tonight was that even though we were getting blown out pretty much the whole game, our guys hustled until the end. There was no give up by anyone all night. I will always respect that. Good things will come for Huse and the Cats, but we certainly will have to be a little patient because this year will be a rough one.

Karl didn't do much of anything tonight - except open it up for everyone else on his team. NBA is a pipe dream for him, though - he's good at this level, but he wouldn't make water boy in the pros.

It sounded like they didn't give up, but there's no way this team can win if they turn the ball over 21 times and give up 30+ points off of turnovers. They have to clean that up for the conference season. I think they'll be fine down the road too. But for now, let this one float into the history books and get ready for another match with Fresno State on Saturday. I'll be there.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!
