I have to admit that I came up with it because I was thinking about Orange Crush...
Oh man, not a Denver Bronco fan. Can I change my vote?
Don't have to be a fan of the Broncos. It's still one of the great defense names of all time.

Gold Rush just kind of rhymes with it. :D

But it also uses a school color and sounds like a defensive thing "rush."

What am I doing? Lobbying? LOL

I loved those gold pants.

But I'm a bit old school about unis. I don't care for the one color thing or the Broncos template.

But that's just me.
Right there with ya, webdav. I would be very happy to welcome the 2007 Bobcats with these as their new uni's:

Agreed. We shouldn't have navy blue. Whatever color that blue is called on the throwbacks is the color for me.

I like the darker blue, myself. I'd go for the '76 throwback template with the new "spirit colors." Gold instead of yellow, especially.

I would love to go with that scheme...the problem is the helmets don't go well with the rest of the uni...just my .02

I do like "Gold Rush" for the D's name.

Anybody hear the song they played for the O-line this morning on the radio.

"EAST BOUND AND DOWN"...what a classic!

I like the darker blue also. The royal blue is too close to NAU, or even McNeese State. The darker blue stands out more. Also, more of a gold and not so much yellow. Geez, I am Mr. Picky :?

I'm with the darker blue/gold over the royal blue/yellow. The throwbacks just remind me of the LA Rams too much.
