Rolo's health
Does anyone know how Rolo is feeling? Heard it was a bruised kidney. We need him back for this weekend.

Re: Rolo's health
Paper said bruised back muscles. I really, really hope he can heal up and be ready, but my guess is Cory will start. I like the both QBs have played this year and shouldn't have any problems with nerves. If Cory can go deep once in a while that would be great or if Jack can play that is great too!HiLineCat wrote:Does anyone know how Rolo is feeling? Heard it was a bruised kidney. Missoulian says he should play:
http://www.missoulian.com/articles/2006 ... s/ws25.txtMSU QB Jack Rolovich suffered what Kramer called a “torso bruise” against UM, but is expected to be ready for Furman. Bobcat running back Evin Groves reinjured his knee and will miss the playoffs. ...

With the hit he took it should be a "torso break"!!!!!!grizbeer wrote:Missoulian says he should play:

Poor Evin, man, that really sucks what happened to him this year.
And yeah, that beating that Rolo took last Saturday... I'd be surprised if he's ready to do a bunch of throwing in just a couple days.
However, I doubt Furman sees a passing attack like MSU very often (maybe Coastal Carolina this year but not many others), so it'll be interesting to see what they do with Jefferson, Wheaton, and Lewis running around, regardless of who's in the backfield.

It was said today that it's a strain of the "adductor" muscle on his side. I could have sworn that the conversation was directed toward Rolo starting and Carp ready to go if it didn't work out.
What coach did say is that they would see how he was doing today, tomorrow.......up until game time.
Heck, I think we're going to go with a two QB set

Personally, I'd love to see Gazzero get the chance. If nothing else, to give Mason a rest for a series or two.bobcatbob wrote:Kramer did say today Rolo will be ready to go!
