Thanks for the congrats - very classy.

The Cats always play tough. You guys should really be in the playoffs.
Nothing but respect for MSU and how tough they played, except for your most talented receiver, MJ. If he would have put as much effort into catching/holding on to the ball as he did talking trash and beating his chest, you guys would have won today.

What an ugly game all around. Some hard hits though.

Maybe Carpenter in a little earlier to sharpen up the passing game?

No question about it, the Cats lost this game themselves. This was MJ's chance to shine and he failed miserably. A lot like the UC Davis game. I'm still in shock. Good luck to UM and PSU in the play-offs. The Cats will most likely not get the nod again.

Honestly, what is happening with the coaching this year? Last several years they were stellar the first posession of the 2nd half after making great half time adjustments. We have been outplayed in the 2nd half all season. We have also lost the ability to create 10+ play scoring drives and have instead relied on big plays. I thought the play calling was OK today. QB had good protection. Someone had to be open. My hats off to the Griz for a great season. I hope they lose in the first round though but the way their D is playing, they should do well.

I cannot figure out why the Cats still do that roll punt. They are dead last in net punting in the Big Sky. Why do they continue to "run" with it?

Congrats to the griz. They are a good team and deserving champs.

The MSU defense handed this game to the offense on a silver platter. But instead of scoring we fouled our shorts and went home. Poor quarterback play and worse wide receiver play did us in. Bad play calling didn't help. When we go shotgun on 3rd and 1-to me that's waving a white flag.

Also, our inability to punt the ball really hurt us. We never had any kind of field position-except that last "drive", and the griz were constantly starting at mid-field. Kramer-we need to get serious about punting the ball!

I hope the committee considers us. PSU should not get in ahead of us. Head to head competition should mean everything-especially mid to late season. If neither of us gets in I'll begrudgingly understand.

Really I am with you on the roll punt. Give it up for the sake of god. We give the ball to the opponet on the 45 yard line. That is idiotic. I think all of our team did very well. Rolo, Carp, everyone. we protected our quarterback, lots of sacs, really proud of you guys. What a game. Always worth my money. Hope you guys aren't beat up too much so you can play next weekend. (PPLLLEEEAAASSSEE Mr. decisive guy for the playoffs, PPLLLEEEAAASSSEE)

A couple things that I have not seen mentioned as yet....The Montana punter was money...only one in the end zone and most punts were dropping right at the 10 yard line forcing Austin to fair catch them there. And the bad snap...somehow he managed to drop-kick that one for one of the best punts of the day. If the cats block that one, it's a different result.

The one offensive play that I kept waiting for was the end around to Jefferson...I cannot believe that play never saw the light of day.

The roll punt absolutely needs to die an insanely freakin' violent death. So what if the opposing team gets a decent run-back every once in awhile? I'd rather take my chances with a punter who can nail one high and long. Tyler Bolton can punt normal - I have seen him do it in warmups. In fact, if I am not mistaken, he was a punter in high school in Great Falls and a decent one. Did you see those short fields the Griz had to work with all day? It's a good thing they have a mediocre offense or the score coulda been hideous

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we went to the roll punt a couple of years ago because our lack of depth left us with some pretty suspect punt coverage and we were getting gashed? Dan Davies commented on the post game show that our punt and kick teams won't be so heavily stocked with freshmen next year-we have some depth returning. Our kick coverage was pretty good all year so it stands to reason that our punt coverage would be fine too. Kramer needs to put the game back in the hands of the players. Roll punt in certain situations but when backed up behind the 35 or so just punt normally.

That's how I always feel. I hate the Cats but once it comes to the postseason I'm pulling for you. You're representing the State of Montana at that point. Good game today Cats. Great hitting game. Sloppy on both sides in some areas but I thought the hitting was pretty good on both sides.

I thought the Bobcat defense was nothing short of amazing today, and I tip my hat to their effort!

I'd also like to give a huge "Thumbs Up" to all the Cat fans I met, and talked with today...nothing but class. They made MSU proud in my eyes!

Thanks, I was impressed with the Griz D as well, especially the speed you guys have on the ends.

Also, will say that I personally enjoyed all of the Griz fans I met. A few drunks with a little too much to say, but that is expected. Other than that I had a great time, with the exception of the outcome.
