Post by Go Scats Go » Thu Oct 26, 2006 10:29 am

Most of you know Im a Griz fan and dont want to start a B session- Just want to know what you hate in a staduim.

My three picks are:

The Wave
Song: YMCA
Song: Raise a little hell

Dishonerable Mention Song: Cotton Eyed Joe

That is interesting about the Cotton Eyed Joe. All the Griz fans I talk to love it, at least all the fans who have expressed an opinion about the song.

I will stick with my longstanding dislike of concessionairs who serve boiled polish dogs......grill em or get out of the business.

#1 - When the place is rockin' and they play a slow song like "Redneck Girl"

#2 - Fans that want you to sit down so they can see the game.

At the Griz games, I hate it when they play those "short films" on the big screen. Talk about taking the crowd and quieting them down.

That the game only lasts three hours and the partying only one day!

No offense to the billion group but God I really hate that stupid throw through the hoop thing at the end of the third quarter, Every time I pray that the person throwing the ball hits the cardboard cut out in the head and knocks it off.

Now I don't believe you should bitch without a suggestion to improve.

Remember way back when they used to bring the football launcher on the field and someone from the crowd would try and catch the ball and if they did everyone got fries or something like that. Do that at least it was entertaining to watch someone fall on there @ss

Bobcat Bulldog- The problem with throwing the football at the end of the third quarter is that they pick the young guys and they are usually drunk by then. My complaint with our stadium is some of the corporate sponsors who buy season tickets, and then are rarely used, hence open seats!!!!

Like the ones at the ISU game screaming "START THE CLOCK!" after an incomplete pass?

What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck. I can't remember how it ends but your mother's a whore.

YMCA is obnoxious and it's time to get over it. Ditto The Wave.
The Chicken Dance is lame.
Mony, Mony makes me want to hurl.
Thank heavens most places have gotten past the Macarena.

I would hope these aren't happening in my beloved Montana. It's bad enough to endure that crap down here.

Trying to get leave section 112 at halftime or after the game... I swear the entire stadium can exit before that section.

They don't/won't/can't(?) play "4 the Nation"

That I have to drive back immediately following the games because we can't get anybody to watch our ADHD yellow lab... haha

Football is not a game but a religion, a metaphysical island of fundamental truth in a highly verbalized, disguised society, a throwback of 30,000 generations of anthropological time. ~Arnold Mandell
