Cam Miller was the best QB on the field Monday night. Absolutely no question about it.

They got 2 personal fouls after the whistle and could have had at least 5 more that I saw. They hit Tommy late multiple times with no calls. They nearly took Taco's head off with no-call. They are obviously coached just like the Griz to push the envelope and see what they can get away with and try and get in the other team's head.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:19 amI’m getting tired of seeing people say the Bison are a dirty team. Anyways, while I’m sick of them, I don’t dislike them like I do UM. If anything, I respect the heck out of that program.

No, he wasn't. His coaches gave him a better scheme and his team helped him out more. He didn't have to put the team on his back and try to do it all himself. He had a great game, don't get me wrong. He executed their plan very well but he did not show me that HE is a better player than Tommy in any way, shape or form.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:19 amCam Miller was the best QB on the field Monday night. He never made a mistake. Made some big throws. Was composed the entire time. He was the best QB on the field that night. Maybe not a better player than Tommy, but he was the best QB on Monday.technoCat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:24 amNo, he wasn't. His coaches gave him a better scheme and his team helped him out more. So, you think targeting should be legal and throwing players down after the play is blown dead is ok? One of the personal fouls was on the onside where he ran over a player, and then continued the block. I have no issue with it, at all.
Football is a physical sport. If you don’t think the Bobcat players push the boundaries occasionally, you aren’t watching. You cannot win without pushing the boundaries. This isn’t a sport or game for choir boys. There’s a grey area in football, and to be good, to win games, you have to win the grey area.

Wasn’t me. I haven’t been up to Fargo since last spring.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 4:41 amI wonder if you are the Bobcat I encountered in late June of 2022. I was in a little barbershop in a strip mall, near the big mall just off I-94 and something (my first time in Fargo). I had a Bobcat T-shirt on and you said “Go Cats” and that started a little conversation.MinnesotaBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 4:00 pmYes….usually my interactions with Grizzly fans are a passing joke followed by “did you grow up in Montana.” When a Bison fan sees me in my Bobcat, gear it is initiated by an arrogant comment, then followed up by them fishing for a compliment about their program. They don’t like it when you don’t gush about Fargo being the center of the football universe. This happens literally every time I’m in the Costco on the weekend.

Football is a physical sport. People get injured enough as it is without teams obviously going out of their way to instigate scenarios where more players can get hurt. Play within the rules instead of just trying to see what you can get away with because the refs are either swallowing their whistles or not paying attention.

They're not helping themselves. Personal fouls. Injury cheering. More flopping like in their loss vs USD. Classless post-game.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:19 amI’m getting tired of seeing people say the Bison are a dirty team. They are very, very physical, but they aren’t dirty. I can respect what they've built. I don't like what it is becoming. I'd probably put them ahead of UM if it weren't for Bobby.

we went cheering him when he was hurt, NDSU fans started cheering because Trey Lance & Hunter Luepke from the Dallas Cowboys were up in the Suites and started a chant with Thunder no one wants to see anyone hurt

I didn’t see anything where as a team, NDSU was doing anything to intentionally hurt players. I’ll guarantee you Vigen and the players don’t think they were dirty. Heck, I’ve seen opposing fans accuse MSU players of being dirty after we’ve kicked their ass. There’s generally a common theme among fans who do that. Sore losers.

The fans were cheering, although I doubt it was because of an injury. Don’t blame the team for fans poor decisions.RKMCMT wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 11:21 amThey're not helping themselves. The players were hyping up the crowd. That is wrong when a player is down. Being down right in their bench area made it worse.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 11:42 amThe fans were cheering, although I doubt it was because of an injury. Gotcha! So your NFL guys in the suites were responsible for cheering while a player was hurt! Super classy! And you defending them is even more telling.lakesbison wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 11:37 amwe went cheering him when he was hurt, NDSU fans started cheering because Trey Lance & Hunter Luepke from the Dallas Cowboys were up in the Suites and started a chant with Thunder no one wants to see anyone hurt

they were up in the suites behind the fans, we were turned around waving at them and they had THUNDER the MASCOT up there to do the specific cheer at the next stoppage of play
its called a marketing department and they gotta do what they are scheduled to do... not 1 bison fan was cheering for a hurt player.

Re: Anyone else dislike the Bison more than the Griz?
You’re saying that was because of marketing!?!? It was an injury timeout, not a media timeout, so I doubt very much anybody was waving their arms saying “START THE CHEER!!!”lakesbison wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 2:34 pmthey were up in the suites behind the fans, we were turned around waving at them and they had THUNDER the MASCOT up there to do the specific cheer at the next stoppage of play

But if that is true, then they have an amazing lack of game awareness, because any kind of cheering with an injured player down is bush league. They might want to go find a different line of work if they thought that was the right time to do that…..
