Two schools need to join the old pac 12 to make it a 6 Pack.
Or two schools need to leave for it to be 2Pac

As a '90s pro wrestling fan, I vote they get back to 10 teams and rebrand the conference as X-Pac.

I was told that UM is being considered for the SEC. Heard that all this has nothing to do with money or records, it is all based on Tony Romo saying how loud their stadium was.

The Pac 12, Mountain-West, Sun Belt, C-USA, ACC, and MAC Conferences are going to be known as the conferences where teams go to die. Do you really want to join them. They should all be in a division FBS II.

This entire situation is a joke. These student athletes are going to get dragged all over the country so these rich morons can continue to suck every penny out of college football. The kids playing all the other sports are paying for this disaster. This is literally proof that the student in student athlete is meaningless.

I’m proud that we are FCS and not a part of this mess and I hope it stays that way.

I take it you meant AAC, not ACC, right?

Sounds great, I'm sure Stanford and Cal will have no qualms about being associated in a conference with Sacramento State.

If we were to leave the BSC (unlikely at this point) which conference opponents would you miss, assuming both MT schools stay together? I'd say Weber and EWU but that's about it. Maybe road games against NAU because they always seems to be more challenging than they should be?

Northern Colorado, UC Davis, Idaho State, and Portland State. Most often the Cats win against all four.

That's funny that you mention those 4. UC Davis is generally average or better but the other three are prime candidates for relegation back down to DII.

To me the thought of moving up has become much more attractive as more and more teams have made the move from Division II to FCS. The NCAA has put a big price tag on the move from FCS to FBS that makes that move even less attractive.

It's time for the NCAA to put a big enough price tag on the move from D-II to FCS so that the dilution of the FCS brand ceases.

No problem! On another note, I was just working out and I saw the NCAA advertisement on how 99% of the athletes go pro in something other than sports. Crazy how the NCAA has allowed these changes to transpire wi the little thought toward academics. Can you imagine how difficult the Pacific time zone teams versus Eastern time zone teams trips will be for the students? And those would be conference games like women’s basketball. Impact on the student athlete appears to be the last thing considered.

Just working out at 6:56PM??? How can you be great doing that? haha

Just kidding and I agree completely on them not looking at the academics.
