Why do we get the absolute worst reffing crew every single week?
We don’t. I heard this was the best crew. It’s all sort of relative. Relatively bad. Nice tackle on Taco. A good receiver should be able to catch a ball while being spun around backward and having his legs knocked out from underneath him before the ball gets there. Really bad.

Probably the farthest Marsh has ever run!
Didn't he play RB in high school?

ISU beats Davis 38-36.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do, but 48-23 may be the best of all.

No D-Line. Might have moon lighted on offense once in a while, but was primarily a D-Lineman. Broke Capital High's sack record set by Brad Daly as a Junior and broke his own record as a Senior.

That TD was so much fun to watch in person. Everyone was going crazy and when he finally made it back to the sideline he stood up on the bench and we all went wild again. Started chanting his name shortly after. It seemed like everyone on the team congratulated him multiple times. Great moment for the guy.

Big Sky teams ranked by point differential during conference play:

MSU +173
UM +69
Davis +59
Sac +33
Idaho +8
NAU -21
Cal Poly -40
ISU -41
UNCU -42
EWU -58
Weber -58
PSU -72

MSU has played #6, 7, 8, 9, and T10 and their next two games are against T10 and 3.
UM has played #4, 5, 7, 8, and T10 and their next two games are against T10 and 12.

Strength of schedule shouldn't really matter much by the end of the year, at least for conference games. Such a stupid discussion about which team is better when it's blatantly obvious that whoever wins the Brawl gets the 2 seed and fans on message boards will play zero role in who wins that game. The more interesting question is if the team that loses the Brawl could still end up in the Top 4, which after today's results seems a lot more likely than it did 24 hours ago.

If both teams win the next two games the loser of Cat-griz might not even drop below the 3 seed if the game is close. There's a big enough gap between the top 3 and the next couple teams from the east coast that the top 3 teams are practically locked in and it just comes down to order.

Agreed. I'm very interested to see where the committee puts Lehigh and Tennessee Tech (both 9-0) when they release their second set of rankings this week. Tarleton should drop below the two Montana schools as should SDSU, which seems highly likely to end up with 3+ losses given their remaining schedule (at USD, at UND, Ill St).

Our defense is championship quality but offense is not. Since we have most of the OL and RB's back, leads me to believe it's either Lamson or Sterbick's play calling. Why would you continue to call for QB designed runs in the red zone after multiple failures? Backs appear to be trying to hit slots that are already closed. It's a major problem if these issues aren't ironed out by November. Sorry for the pessimism but I see us struggling against UCD and not getting out of WaGriz with the W.
Hate to say it, but the griz offense would not struggle like this in the redzone.
If we go anywhere in the playoffs, the defense will carry us.
Who cares about the griz offense... they would have to see OUR defense and I'll treasure our defense over anyone's offense at this point in the season. Maybe I'm overly confident but well be fine. Again maybe not pretty but we'll win.
Agree. And in games vs common opponents Cats have done just fine in comparison. I think when D is playing so strong they are trying things in red zone. Then close game and playoffs you have a good group of plays that you go to but a lot of stuff on film

It's interesting how two games ago Jones puts up big rushing numbers, then last week Davis puts up big rushing numbers, then today Lamson throws over 300 yards. How, really, will opposing teams stop the Cats? That's alot to prepare for.

Agreed that getting the W is most important. Maybe just need to consign myself to a slow first half on offense. Like to see the 2’s and 3’s get some quality time now.
Slow first half on offense didn’t work in Frisco last year. You are right to worry a bit because it’s become a trend.

What’s the O/D ypp differential?

No, you must not be paying attention, come on get the story straight.
Sac gets as good a crew as the BSC has, but they hate Sac so much they screw em with their calls.
