Heck, Brock Steel gets a sack and the sound effects for Wolverines Claws extending blows across the speaker system. Think of it...AWESOME!

Beer Choices:
Foley: Mirror Pond Pale Ale - 3rd Appearance
Thorny: Bozone Amber - 9th Appearance (3rd most all time)

@Common Cat yes you had the same beer once. As @CelticCat accurately called out, the Venn Diagram did intersect one time with...Coors Light! - Episode 249. One other "same beer" note...in the 2023 SDSU Preview, Foley and Tom Stuber both had Coors Banquet.
Top Beer Appearances: Question was top 6 and you got the top 3.
#1 Raineer - 12
#2 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - 12
#3 Bozone Amber - 9
#4 - Coors Banquet - 7
#5 - Mountain Man Scotch Ale - 6
#6 - Porch Glow Amber - 6
Coors Light is in the top 10 tied with Prickly Pear, Moose Drool and Miller Lite - All with 5 appearances.

Good show this week…but one correction.
Lamson has a completion percentage of 73.4% this year according to colter nuanez. Higher than Lulay and I think we are throwing it more than when Lulay played.

What part of the team gives you the most concern? (Knowing special teams is obviously the number one answer, what is number two?)
What kind of signs or shirts should be made for Cat-fizz? I’d like to see some griz centers in ballerina outfits spinning/rotating.

As far as I can tell, Lulay never went over 60%, his career finished at 57.0%. According to the MSU record books he's not in the top 10 season for completion percentage.
Top 10 Seasons:
1. 67.8% Mellott 2024
2. 66% McGhee 2012
3. 66% McGhee 2013
4. 65% Prukop 2014
5. 62.8% Prukop 2015
6. 62.7% McGhee 2010
7. 62.2% McKay 2021
8. 62.1% Carpenter 2006
9. 61.6% Rovig 2019
10. 61% Mellott 2022
10. 61% McGhee 2011
Every season McGhee had was top 10 all time in completion %.
Lamson is on pace to shatter that record.
And to your question Vim, yes Lulay slung it around a lot. 490 attempts in 2004, 406 in 2003 and 388 in 2005, good for 2nd, 4th, and 5th all time. In fact he's thrown more passes than anyone else in MSU history, surprisingly 171 more times than McGhee despite throwing for 457 more yards and 21 more TD passes.
*Big caveat, the latest MSU record book available on the website is 2023 so it doesn't have last year on it. Mellot finished at 67.8%, I went ahead and put that at #1.

It's hard to find stats from that timeframe but ESPN still shows Lulay was 225/391 with 2,680 yards for 57.5%, which tracks with the overall % MSU has him marked as:
https://www.espn.com/college-football/t ... eason/2005
According to MSU recordbooks, he threw 388 passes in 2005, not sure where the Wiki got 338 from. MSU says 388, ESPN says 391.

Re: Golden Coolie Questions
Good performance by the Cats, better performance by Ty Gregorak. Not only a great suit/tie, but also worked in albatross. Nice to see Davis go off. Lamson’s accuracy was concerning, could have put a could more TD’s on the score board with better a better performance by him. Starting 4/10 and throwing one behind Taco that could have been a big play. The play in the second half to Schlepp, could have been to the house.
On the hit dog front I present to you the Cheesy Wiener:
Large mozzarella stick cut in half lengthwise with a dog placed into the cheese stick like a bun. Topped with marinara and flaky Parmesan cheese.
Does the performance by the secondary concern you? If their QB was more accurate, they also would have had a couple large gash plays.

Pressure will do that. Not many sacks but several hits and pressures. Those impacted Lamson as well who missed a couple like you said. Kelly did place a perfect pass on TD with good coverage. Even in NFL and Power 5 games QBs don't always connect with open receivers indeed balls.Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 7:28 amGood performance by the Cats, better performance by Ty Gregorak.
