Haha, best comeback of the year. Only problem is, there is no way that dork is married.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Kind of like GA identifies as a bitch, not recognized by the states or Feds yet.

There are far too many issues in your nice little community college to be coming over here... How's that enrollment coming along. Many of us are looking forward to a 50% drop... Looking forward to a four-peat. Run along to egriz...

This looks great and was way over due. From a recruiting stand point alone it has to help. Most of the recruits (I belive) tour the stadium when it is empty. It must be frustrating for the coaches to show them those old rusty stands. This will be a big help.

Wow! The new makes the old look even worse. I still want to see a big blue block M in the middle of it.

I’m pretty sure they blasted what was left of the old paint off before they started, so the bad wasn’t as bad as in these pictures.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 10:34 amWow! The new makes the old look even worse. I still want to see a big blue block M in the middle of it.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Does look nice. Has anyone on BN attended a game at Utah State and sat in the NE section of the stadium, before the rebuild? The wood was so weather worn, sitting on the wooden bench seating was like sitting on cactus. I swear I gained five pounds each trip.

Any chance someone could post some more pictures for us out-of-towners? Thanks!

Re: Stadium East side
With attendance dropping nationwide does putting money into making our stadium larger make sense. Making it nicer seems to be essential. Making it bigger maybe not.
From the link. "Total attendance among Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams dropped again last year, continuing a trend that doesn’t seem to have a bottom."

Re: Stadium East side
I don’t think, other than about 2,000 end zone seats, that there’s any expansion planned. MSU typically has SRO crowds five times every two years at the home opener, homecoming every year and at Cat-Griz every other year. I think that merits putting in the end zone seats.Long Time Cat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:19 amWith attendance dropping nationwide does putting money into making our stadium larger make sense. As for the end zone I wonder if they’ll put in a berm there for people to sit on.

I think rather than looking at national trends on attendance, it would be better to look at MSU's trends over the last 5 or 10 years.Long Time Cat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:19 amWith attendance dropping nationwide does putting money into making our stadium larger make sense. In the last 5 years I think we have held attendance pretty good near capacity, and that includes 3 years of sub .500 records
