Coaches Corner at Holiday Inn 10/17
Was at the Coaches Corner today. Coach Kramer was excited as to how the defense played again. He feels confident that we are in excellent shape on defense. Also, was very complimentary of the job Rolo did. He said Jack will have interecptions but we can live with that. One or two a game but no more than that! He loves the way Rolo throws it down the field. He feels Jack will get better each week and that he learned a lot this past week.
He went on about Special Teams and how it was a disaster this past week. The good thing is that these things can be corrected and they will work hard on them this week along with emphasis on no penalties on the offensive line. He said we will see some changes and adjustments this week on Special Teams.
He talked about Evan Groves not playing Saturday. Other than his knee that stiffened a bit he said Evan was out of sorts Saturday as there was a signifcant tragedy in his family. Apparently a family member committed suicide and it was in Evans home bedroom. I took it to be someone other than an immeadiate family member. Evan went to San Diego for the funeral after the game and should be back today.
The Coach said this weeks game should see some high scoring on the artifical turf. He is anxious to see our defense against their offense. He feels we have a definite edge on offense.

Did he say who would be handling the punting? I am sure it will be Force and we will be sticking to the roll punt.
I know a lot of you out there do not like the roll punt, but I think it is very effective. All Force has to do is lob it over the line and you will not see a return for a score.
Any discussion of Mason? Hope he can play this next weekend, however Tiato did a fine job last week.
Cats by 3 this weekend?

Force will be punting. Mason has a sore elbow but nothing that will keep him from starting and playing this weekend.Robcat wrote:Did he say who would be handling the punting? I am sure it will be Force and we will be sticking to the roll punt.
