Good win especially when you consider our top two backs played very little (and there is a big drop off to Taito), Rolo got his first start which he needed but it was his FIRST real consistant playing time. This game keeps us in contention for the BSC championship and it gives us a win while learning more about what works for this team. I am more optomistic then ever about ISU next week.
I saw NAU use the roll punt yesterday.

I like the roll punt. Not so much this year though. The way we utilize it has changed. We have not been a threat to throw it at all. We don't scare anybody with it anymore. What would happen if we went left just once, or everytime in A game, just to make them even up against us? I know that we don't have a lefty back there, but we can FAKE it to the left.

Was Murietta the one punting? (I didn't watch the game, so I don't know)

Does Ohio State, USC, or any top program use the roll punt? <---- sarcasm

I have seen some big time I-A schools use it. Of course I can't remember a one right this second, but I have seen it.

Gave the Griz special teams trouble all day long, Tuff let basically all of them roll for an extra 25-30 yards with many ending up inside our own 5.

There is a time and a place for the roll punt, but we are becoming so predictable - it is kind of getting to be a joke. We maybe used to slightly scare opponents, now I think our opponents special teams lick their chops thinking they have about a 25% chance of blocking it or having our punter kick into the back of one of our own guys. Come on Kramer, let's play the percentages a little better here. This is starting to get embarassing.

However, I must say Cats D is really playing some great football!!!!
