Wearing our colors

Post by liqud360 » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:13 am

When I was at the Griz game last week, I saw something that made me laugh. There, in the stands was a guy wearing a yellow hat with blue writing on it. When I got a better look at it, it said BOBCATS
suck

I know what he was trying to do...but at the same time, the fool is still wearing our colors! BWAHHAHA. And I thought griz fans were smart?

Three weeks ago the cats didnt have a football team. I think after this last week, the word team actually means something now.

This came up about two years ago when egriz had a picture of him with this hat up on the site (looks like it is gone now). http://www.bobcatnation.com/bobcatboard ... .php?t=852

You'll notice I made the same point about wearing Bobcat colors, seems pretty dumb to me.

I unfortunately must agree with you, i thought the kittys were gunna get spanked. Good goin there. On the other hand I wouldnt talk about smarts if i were you. (a little voice in the back of my head tells me he wasnt supporting your team) I think that hat did what it was designed to do, it grabbed your attention and gave you a piece of that dudes mind. he was taking a huge dump on your face. But hey, I appreciate your support of the Griz, thanks for comin to watch us. ( i hope you were taking notes) A kitty paying to see a Griz game? LOL and I thought Cat fans were smart? :? Where do you buy those hats?

Actually, when you think about it, having the hat in blue and gold is pure brilliance. If it had been Griz colors, you never would have noticed it. But because he chose to wear "those" colors, he was able to reach his intended audience.

Don't they teach marketing in your business school???

Actually smarttazz, my uncle played for the griz in 54,55,56. He use to have season tickets, and any chance I had to go with my uncle to see a game I would go. He passed away 2 years ago, so any chance I have to see a game in that stadium brings back memories that I miss. As for paying for it...no, I usually get them free...thanks to my uncle and his connections. Perhaps you know of him, he did more for that University than most fans could ever dream of. Do you belong to the quarterback club? do you sit on the athletic board? have you given a yearly dosage of your income each year for the past 30some years? Have you been honored during half time for contributing to grizzlie athletics and the University? Hum? Hum? ya didnt think so. Bandwagon smartass.

Hey dude i meant no offense with the Uncle thing. Sorry for the loss. As for all the things your uncle did, you did not do. My family has had season tickets since 94', when i finish school i plan on buying my own too. i worked the pop stand in the tailgate from when i was about 9 till 14, the GAA took the popstand away at that time. Now being 20 yrs old i serve at the Coors Light stand at least twice a year for the Great Falls GSA Chapter. Thats about all i have done for the University so far. Its petty compared to your Uncle's service, I will be lucky if i ever meet what your uncle did. But Trying to make yourself look cool by boasting your Uncle's accomplishments is pretty fu**ed up man, so shut your mouth Fag boy. Your Uncle deserves that respect, you didnt do sh*t for it. I pitty that you were born insuffecient enough to brag about your own accomplishments. Do you belong to the quarterback club? do you sit on the athletic board? do you donate every year? Have you been honored during halftime? HUM? HUM? didnt think so, (congrats on your free tickets, many envy you) F*ckin freeloader pu*sy. Write back when you have some of your own ammo, Dont waste a good man's. Shove that bandwagon up your A*s.

Alright, parties over. SmartAzz, even for the smack board that one was over the line. One and only warning to keep it civil and cool it with the personal attacks.
