NFL Scout

Post by GOKATS » Wed Sep 20, 2006 7:59 pm

At practice this afternoon there was an unassuming guy that just happened to be wearing a hat and pullover from my favorite NFL team.

Since he was paying a lot of attention (and I'd never seen him before) I asked him if he was with the ???????

He said yes, so I handed him my business card, and asked him if he would tell Mac that 'cuz' said hi when he gets back to ????????

No real mystery here as to who my NFL team is (there aren't many of us, but one of the mods is included).

Anyway, this guy was really impressed with #17 (Rasmussen) and said that he'd definitely be keeping an eye on him- he was really impressed when I told him that he's a true freshman. He said he has great size, throwing mechanics, etc. for a kid that age.

I think we are in goods hands at QB down the road.

I can't believe the Broncos had a scout in town!

Rasmussen looked so good the few times I have watched him. I am excited to see him over the next few years, he could be a great one!

GOKATS, I am assuming that you are referring to the one NFL team that may be tougher to be a fan of this year than it is has been so far being a fan of the Cats? And yes I agree, FTB! ;)

As for Rasmussen, I too am excited to see what he can do in the future.

You've got it! But hell, we were undefeated in preseason!

Time for both to get going!

Unfortunately, your, mine, and kmax's favorite football team dropped their last preseason game to the Seachickens. However, if you look on the bright side, they did score six points last week, so they are due for a touchdown soon!

Yep, forgot about the Seasquaks-I missed that game.

Upward and onward.

I am really confused Alex Smith is a good young qb, why would the Niners need Rasmussen?

Ugh, I hope he forgets about Rasmussen! I would hate for a former Bobcat to be subjected to playing for them.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was the Texans scout who was there

He'd have a great QB coach.
