Week 13 Big Sky Conference Championship

Post by Prodigal Cat » Tue Nov 18, 2025 10:14 am

Last week of the regular season. Lets get some winners before we settle in for turkey. 6-0 straight 2-3-1 verses the spread. Year totals are 34-9 and 24-17-2.

Portland State @ UNCU (-8) These final games a lot of times come down more to who's still playing hard and who just wants it all to be over. Both of these teams have been playing like they want it over. I posted in the preview that PSU would be the worst team in the BSC. They were and they are although they have fought a bit more lately. UNCU wins and covers

NAU @ Weber (+12.5) NAU has something to play for. Weber does not. This gets ugly. NAU wins and covers.

Idaho St @ Idaho (-4) I guess they are at home but i'm a bit shocked that this line isn't closer. ISU has been the better team for most of the season and UI secondary is bad, real bad. Bengals win as an underdog.

Sac St @ UC Davis (-5) Sac has been winning against bad teams but Davis is not a bad team. As posted in a different thread a Davis/gris matchup would probably be a good one for second place. Rivalry games are the worst place to have an undisciplined team and one of these teams is well coached and disciplined, the other is most definitely not. Davis wins and covers

EWU @ Cal Poly (-5.5) Huh. This is hard game to predict mainly because Cal Poly is very up and down. Another game I would have predicted closer to a pick-em. EWU QB looks competent and can do enough to win. EWU wins as an underdog.

THE BIG ONE
MSU @ um (+1.5) This line is moving quite a bit but as of now this is where it is. Lots of pages upon pages breaking down this matchup elsewhere but suffice it to say I just don't think there is position group that favors the gris. A few close pushes, WR, QB, but they aren't close in the trenches or secondary. The only thing favoring the gris is where it being played. Cats win and Cover. Go Cats

Things are not going well for bubble teams.
Yale beating Harvard 24-14
Albany beating Monmouth 21-3
Lehigh just tied it up at 14 but they haven't looked great.

I mean holy crap NAU. Had it teed up for you and completely whiffed. 3-3 against the spread for final record of 27-20-2
4-2 straight 38-11 on the season.
