Re: Men's Roster 25-26
Now up to 14 players on the roster with James Steward's commitment. The new roster limit is 15 for both men's and women's basketball starting this coming year, so there should be one more roster spot available if they choose to fill it.

Re: Men's Roster 25-26
Just a bit of clarification…in the 2024-2025 season the roster limit for men’s basketball was 15 but only 13 scholarships could be awarded. If you “opt in” to the house settlement, the roster limit for 2025-26, is still 15 but you can now provide 15 scholarships. If you do not “opt in” you can still only provide 13 scholarships. MSU did “opt in” so can provide the full 15 scholarships. I suppose until it’s finally signed off by the judge this could still change.
The women could provide 15 scholarships last season and can continue to provide 15 in 2025-26.

Only 5 guys with pictures. 5 guys with no picture or listed weight. 5 guys with no picture but a listed weight.
I still kinda feel like I don't know who's on the team this year...

Wait until school starts. Being connected 24/7 has made all of us less patient.

Summer workouts on campus are in full swing but I don’t think they even take the new head shots and write up the bios until Fall. Maybe earlier though because I guess the Sports Info department has to have football teed up and ready to go in another month or so for first kickoff. It’ll all be here soon.

Another plug for joining the 6th Man Club. If you were in the Bozeman area last week, they held a meet and greet social event you were able to put a face and name together for 14 of the young men….as well as learn tidbits about each of them.lv2hoop wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 2:07 pmSummer workouts on campus are in full swing but I don’t think they even take the new head shots and write up the bios until Fall. Is Seth Amunrud a scholarship player or did they take him as a walk on or academic scholarship?

He’s a scholarship player. He had originally committed to Denver University but changed that when they made a coaching change. Word from summer workouts is that he is good.

Nice to hear that Seth is looking good. I am not surprised, and certainly hopeful. It was great to see him kill it at Dawson CC. I saw him play in the MT-WY All Star game in Billings 2 year ago. I didn't know why he wasn't at least a Frontier baller right then. He and Royce Robinson stood out in that game, to me, for what I know about it. Those 2 were basketball savvy and played a half step ahead of the other players on the court. Seth had his head up, aggressive, and always looking for opportunities both on D or O, with or without the ball. He sees the floor; he executes; reminds me of Jed Miller (I'm a fan, love to see him do good). I'm looking forward to seeing them on the floor together to see how they feed off each other. We will see. It is fun to root for the MT players.... and any other Bobcat that sticks around for 4 or 5 years.
