Looks like he visited a week or so ago. He seems to be all in on the gris though, so they can have him.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 5:55 pmBummer. Hate to see anyone in the gallatin valley go that way…. Did the cats offer him?

Belgrade sure is a powerhouse... Nothing against the kid but people must feel pretty good about how he could play in college when he's probably won what 2 games in his whole high school career and with qb's that are more runner than qb if I remember correctly.

Plenty of Bozeman area kids have gone to UM over the years, as well as the opposite scenario of Missoula area kids coming to MSU. I can see how it's appealing to go to college near home but not necessarily AT home.

He’s 6-2 and has put up good numbers for an underclassman. Especially considering he’s playing for a team that struggles nearly every week. He’s close to breaking 11.0 in the 100m as a junior. Promising player for sure.lutecat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 6:56 amBelgrade sure is a powerhouse... MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Maybe he just likes coaches that have less than appropriate confrontations with their players.SparkCat wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 7:52 pmLooks like he visited a week or so ago. I mean there was this:
Belgrade Head Football Coach, Jeremy Curry resigned after getting into an altercation with a player. The report cited multiple players who said Curry body slammed a player to the ground during a verbal argument.
and there was this:
Montana quarterback Logan Fife and head coach Bobby Hauck had to be separated during a heated altercation.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

I think we can do better than that, yeah?Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 12:27 pmMaybe he just likes coaches that have less than appropriate confrontations with their players.SparkCat wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 7:52 pmLooks like he visited a week or so ago. He seems like a good local WR. I would’ve loved him here.

Anyway, the real question is if he is even athletic.

Hating the griz since 02.

Re: 2026 Montana Recruits
My post was a dig at the former Belgrade coach and at Bobby who earns all the shade that is thrown his way. There was really nothing negative pointed to the young man. To claim otherwise is really a stretch.

Not much of a stretch when you say “he just likes”. My impression was the same as others apparently. Good for this young man to get an opportunity to play D1 ball, even if I don’t like his school.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 4:42 pmMy post was a dig at the former Belgrade coach and at Bobby who earns all the shade that is thrown his way. Yeah I just don't see it as being a negative statement about the young man and had no intention of that. Compared to lots of things that get posted on BN I would've never guessed that what I wrote would've been more than the tiniest blip on the radar of even the most sensitive.tdub wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 10:24 pmNot much of a stretch when you say “he just likes”. tdub you changed and ignored the context of what I wrote by leaving out the word Maybe when you quoted the 3 words "he just likes". But if the words "he just likes" are where you find fault in that post, then I'm willing to give that first sentence another try. I do this hoping it meets an acceptable standard for you 3 guys and offends no-one.
Maybe he doesn't mind coaches that have less than appropriate confrontations with their players.

Re: 2026 Montana Recruits
The use of the word maybe doesn't change the context on the sentence when used colloquially. I'm not sensitive but I also did take what you said as a slight against the kid. If you didn't mean it that way then we'll move on.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 12:56 amYeah I just don't see it as being a negative statement about the young man and had no intention of that.
