Total Wine for your tailgating drinks. Last time we just walked around the whole time before the game and chatted with folks and lots of people welcomed you in for food and drinks. It was a blast.

There are a lot of tickets remaining
Where at?
Basically anywhere outside the 40 yard line, but these idiots are re-selling seats for $400-$800 per ticket. Wait a week, they’ll come down.

Uber is fine, but if you're there for a few days and want to explore, having a car is nice.
It's Texas. What's there to explore?
There’s a pretty good air museum at Love Field. Frisco has a cute video game museum in the same building with a huge model train setup that was featured on Strange Inheritance. As you can tell, I like museums.

Went to a place called Whistle Britches that I saw on DDD. Do NOT recommend.
Dallas about a 30 minute drive south if interested in Dealey Plaza, site of the JFK assassination for you history buffs. Saw some Cat Fans exploring there last time. Also, Cotton Bowl Stadium at the fairgrounds (Fair Park) which in my opinion, is a very storied stadium. Former home of the Dallas Cowboys and host to many high profile college games.

The NCAA FCS ticket site. It’s the only site I would trust to buy tickets. Several posters on BN got scammed on third party sites in 2021.

Hating the griz since 02.

Sunday main event at the Star will be a must. (Assuming we have enough bartenders) :) Probably also Saturday night at the concrete cowboy as well. Will go up to tailgate at LEAST 4 hours early.

Everyone getting in on the act. Even Allegiant Air said they would only have a 12 hour delay.

First time to Frisco. Wanted to stay closer to Frisco, but ended up getting a hotel in East Plano (20 miles from the stadium). Hopefully we're not the only ones staying that far out. Been planning my route to/from the airport and stadium. Looks like we'll have to leave plenty early to get anywhere on time.

We are staying in McKinney, 10 miles from the stadium.

10-20 miles is nothing.

I live just north of Frisco! There is a lot going on down there now.

If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out go to “The Grandscape” in the colony. There is a million things to do there and it’s attached to Frisco!

There is also the brand new PGA Frisco with the Omni hotel just a few minutes from the game. They have restaurants, shops, 2 acre putting green and park that free.

The best bbq around is Hutchins BBQ!
What’s some good kid friendly stuff to do in the area?

“Kidzania”is a great place for kids in Frisco.
“Active Arena”
“Dave & Busters”
“Ford center at the Star”

Check out Jerry Jones mini city he built for the Cowboys called the Star, lots of great restaurants and bars and pretty cool set up.

Wild Pitch Sports bar is pretty cool with scantly clad ladies serving up some cold beers.

Last time we were there vs ND all the bars had "welcome bison" fans signs hopefully the bars do it for both teams this year. Bison fans travel in huge numbers.

Uber to the stadium depending on where you are. Stadium is ok but nothing great it's used mostly for Soccer games and has an odd seating especially in the one end zone where the bands will be at least they were last time. Also I hope they open up more than 1 or 2 entrances into the stadium, staff got overwhelmed when people started heading in an hour before kick and it got ugly at times.

As you walk in from the main tailgates (West of stadium), go to the left of the crowd and walk in towards the north end zone. No wait (saves you 30 minutes) and beer salesman are there to greet you. Only pointer I’ve got from last trip….

Well you have to do the stock yards in Fort Worth, very kid friendly and adult friendly, was a blast in 2021. I would also say the Bobcat event is fun. Tour of cowboy stadium is kid friendly as well. Other than that, we went full on the bars and all that stuff, no kids of course. All and all there is a lot of stuff to do in Dallas Fort Worth, it’s a great venue in my opinion.

Six Flags Over Texas has a huge number of rides if you and the kids are into amusement parks. Texas Motor Speedway has a beautiful light show at night…just on over Christmas Holidays. I have a personal goal of visiting as many presidential homes and libraries as I can….just to learn a bit of history….Bush Jr. library is on/near the SMU campus. And last time we went down to Austin/San Antonio area for several days for extended tourist trip…Alamo, River Walk, State Capital, Luckenbach, Texas and Guerne Hall for some music venues.etc in the SA Austin areas.

I’m a fan of good Tex Mex Food so take in one or two local places when I can.

But agree with above to attend the Bobcat events……, I just enjoyed catching all of the Bobcat functions I could…especially if they can provide enough bar tenders this year. I met people I hadn’t seen in 40 years!

NDSU fans take over the whole place and rightfully so, having been there so many years in a row. The ladies at tight ends and wild pitch told us that they would put up bobcat stuff if we brought it next time. They also said the bison fans come every year, many go even if they aren’t in, so they have loyalty to them and that is why they have welcome bison fans banners all over the place. It’s pretty crazy really, how good they travel to this game. I was concerned we wouldnt have any fans there in 2021, that was until we found the rest of the bobcat fans packing the Star area, especially the concrete cowboy.

I’m pretty sure it was tight ends that played MonyMony for us last time when we requested it….we had a good chant going at our section!! Fun!
