Lots of dirty play would be my guess. Tommy better watch his ankle on Saturday.

Fizz will go with fife. And as was stated by an earlier poster booby will scheme something. I'm predicting 5 WR sets ala don read and try to ride fifes arm. No way that ah yat plays unless fizz are really behind.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Fife has clearly been the better option for at least half the season, yet Bobby has been splitting time consistently. Maybe this last weekend was the final blow to Bobby’s ego that his 2 qb system isn’t working and that fife clearly gives them the best shot to compete each week. And Ah yat got hurt against PSU, not sure how badly though.

So yes, I do anticipate Fife getting most, if not all of the snaps Saturday, but it would not surprise me in the least for that to be way off and for Ah Yat to get the nod.

The Cats can handle both, but I’d love to see Ah yat be the guy for this game, he’s just not a very good qb yet.

Perfect. There is plenty of dodgy seafood that could give you food poisoning on Friday. Should clear up by Saturday if you eat it Thursday night. What are your thoughts on raw chicken?

I’m seeing 60% chance of rain and snow Saturday. Could be a ground and pound day which will benefit the cats greatly.

What about Gilman? Did he carry the ball at all last weekend? Have they totally abandoned their run game?

He got going in the second half.

Yes I watched the game. My problem is I lived through "the streak" and when Cat-Griz week arrives I start to stammer and I develop a few tics and twitches.
I am physically and mentally scarred from watching the griz come into Bobcat Stadium and beat us so many times back then. Like someone else said, I remember the griz fans in our own park lot laughing and sneering at us. I just cannot stand the griz. Watching UC Davis outscore us 20-0 in the fourth quarter kinda got to me. But I know that our players and coaches will be locked in on Saturday. I've just got to take long breaths and maybe drink a few extras in the tailgate before I head into the stadium.
I hear what you're saying, and I know a lot of us that lived through the streak feel that pain still. However, I wonder if Griz fans today aren't scarred just as bad, and feel that pain just as bad, if not worse than us. Granted, the sixteen game streak was insanely painful. However, from a Griz fan perspective, think of some of their losses to us over the past couple decades. The Lulay to Adams streak ender, Chris Murray running all over and t-bagging them, of course the Miracle In Missoula, and now the two most lopsided Cat-Griz ass kickings in history, the last two times they came to town.

Love that second clip and watch it multiple times each year. I was in section 114 and I remember the snow/ice being packed down on the bleachers. I was looking down trying to clear a level spot for my feet and heard the crowd start going wild. Looked up as he was crossing the 50. And I love Gregorak's reaction

Being forever psychologically scarred after the streak I will never take this game for granted. I will always be ecstatic about a win. Any kind of win.
Dude, preach. People always ask why I'm not a guy that cheers for them when they aren't playing the Cats, etc. I'm like, I lived with that sneering condescension for 16 years. I don't have the faculties to do anything but wish them to fail. I'm scarred. I admit it.
I'm also of this mindset. The Streak permeated almost everything in Montana at the time. Many times, it was intensely personal and painful. FTG always forever.

griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.

We’ve said a lot this year about how big Cole Sain has been for our team, I forgot that he transferred from the Griz after redshirting a year. That makes his contribution to our team this year even sweeter!!! Hope we stick with him this week and that he gets to push around some Grizzlies on Saturday.

To clarify, he transferred to Riverside Community College from the Griz before coming to us, so he didn’t come straight to us from the Griz. Still… feels like a huge pickup.

I forgot it was Senior Day also on Saturday. Damn, when you look at that group of leaders, who starting in January have taken it upon themselves to do whatever it takes to have a championship caliber program... that's one other reason to think this one might not be close. We'll see. This team just continues to prove over and over and over again they have the talent, heart, desire, competitiveness... and probably most important is they seem to truly be playing for their brothers.

Fife's first Brawl. The most hostile crowd he'll EVER see!!

Very true! And the Cats just really do play so much better at home. This is a huge game, and it's great that the Cats already have the AutoBid, regardless of the outcome, but 12-0 sounds really nice, along with outright Big Sky Champs. :D

On another note, this game is on ESPN+ right? Looked ahead on the local stations and it's not showing up. That's been a big frustration on and off this season. As long as it's on ESPN+ I'm good.

All Big Sky Conference games (and home OOC games) are on ESPN+ unless they get picked up by the ESPN linear networks. Yes, this game is on ESPN+

Thank you! That's what I thought but had a moment of panic. Not sure what the deal is with Scripps Sports and Dish, but they're pre-empting to FBS games in my area. Frustrating.
