What a day! The conference championship is on the line. The winner locking up a top 4 seed and setting themselves up for home field to Frisco. As TomCat88 has eluded to, this may be one of, if not the biggest game in BSC history. Both teams come in undefeated against the FCS. 19-1 overall record between the two.

The Cats D has something to prove. Despite some ridiculous performances thus far and a high point total given up of 28 (14 of UNM's points were defensive), the D still has its doubters and naysayers. Larison and Hastings lead a solid offense for Davis, but one that isn't super explosive. They get down the field methodically most of the time, so stopping them early in drives will be key. We can probably expect some trickery, Larison in the gun, and Davis pulling out all the stops to get the win.

Offensively, can anyone stop the Cats? The only team that that sort of did was UNM. Can a top 25 FCS defense in Davis slow down one of the best ever FCS offenses? I say no. At least not enough to get the win, but we will see at 6 PM. Tommy's improvement in the passing game, coupled with the ridiculous run game should give Davis fits. We'll see if their stout run D is really that.

Let's get that BSC title. Get up for gameday!

Great write up to launch us into game day with the proper lead time to marinate and season the excitement for this historic showdown!!!

In big games big time players show up, and we’ve got more and better! That said Davis will show up and contest the game! Nothing could be better for the Cats than a playoff game to temper their steel.

Win the game today and next week…and get the bye and play with house money through the playoffs in Bobcat Stadium!

I too appreciated the posting time for this game day thread. I read it at 1:00 and had sweet dreams of victory for our Bobcats.
Now here we are 12 hours before our sturdy band takes to the grid iron and fights for the honor of Big Sky Champions 2024. The goal of the day is to bring the Vim and get the Win!

An NDSU loss would be great but Mo State gave up 31 to Murray St last week and 42 to UNI a few weeks ago. I don’t have a ton of optimism.

I don't expect NDSU to lose but it should be the best FCS game of the day outside of MSU/Davis. And if it ends up being closer than expected, that's an extra bonus!
