Vigen is a 6-6, 220 QB out of Bozeman Gallatin and is the son of MSU HC Brent Vigen. He's rated a 3-star by 247 and received offers from Cornell, Montana, NAU, and Fordham. He led the Raptors to the state semifinals where they lost to Kalispell Glacier. He was a key player for the Raptors AA state championship team last winter. He completed 72-128 passes for 1,409 yards and 22 TDs against 7 interceptions.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Think those guys posed that pic knowing full well they were committing? Likely IMO. Making six announcements over a couple weeks plays to the fans and makes social media engagement much better.

I kind of feel like this may have been the best recruiting month I've ever seen for the Bobcats! Of course you have to have the caveat that it's just on paper, but it looks good today!

Wow-- we've now swept the top recruits in the state with the exception of Casagranda, and I have to like our chances with him given that he's from Bozeman and his dad played for the Cats.
Obviously we've got to hold them till signing day, but I love our chances. Also great to get talented MT guys because they are much less likely to transfer out for a better opportunity if they really shine.

That is the key to recruiting in State. Well said

I heard a rumour that our coach was meeting with this kid's parents on a regular basis for years to recruit him.

I don't want to get anybody in trouble but I heard the coach even slept with the recruit's mom. That's the kind of effort I want to see out of a head coach.

All kidding aside I'm just glad that we have a coach who will play the players best for the team rather than a player with a last name he likes the most.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

I heard he buys him gifts every year. Even takes him on trips and vacations.
