It hit me the other day that this run through the tournament and subsequent championship was nearly identical to um’s football season.

Through the fall the Big Sky was basically MSU’s. While um looked awful. The season progressed and when the dust settled um somehow was where the Cats should have been. Pretty damn close to how the bball season played out.

The Griz fans have a good point. UM got invited straight to the prestigious CBI tournament with no need for a play-in game. It's such a great tournament that they charge a $30 monthly fee to access the streaming service it airs on. Who needs CBS when you can watch CBI action on flosports.com instead! The ratings will be through the roof.

Not only is there a charge for the streaming service but the tournament charges teams $27,500 entry fee. I wonder if the griz fans can muster up another bake sale.

Semb became a griz fanboy the moment he set foot in Missoula. He was never a journalist. I mean everyone of those Missoula journalists throws softballs to Bobby Hauck but he was lobbing wiffleballs.
