Wow, missed FG’s is points off the board obviously but it’s also an emotional dagger left in the pocket.

Only one 1-1. Patterson hit the front end as the 2nd T was called, then missed the bonus.

Sorry, looked like the first make was waived off because of the whistle on the T, then he missed the front end.

Not the most talented team in the conference but a true core of very good Big Sky players is gelling. They play hard and have surpassed all of my expectations already.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings
What a ride

All I know is Logie must be one hell of a coach, I am enjoying the heck out of this team.

Yeah, that was a damn good win. Back to .500 on the season and 6-3 in the BSC. Logie is a good coach, maybe great.
He and the Cats made David Riley stand down tonight. It'll be interesting to see if Eastern can manage the split on this trip, as the Griz are probably going to be slight favorites on Saturday.

Great team win tonight!! Shots might not have fallen like they would have liked but they kept getting good looks! Rob continues to play at league MVP level and Lecholat playing like the 2nd best player on the team these last 5 or so games has been huge. Specially with Gorake exiting stage right early and often lately (free throws seem to be very tough for him right now which is spooky).
Some very important games down the stretch starting Saturday. Cats cannot overlook Idaho. They gave Griz a scare and shot over 50% from the floor. Defense needs to step up big time like it did tonight

At this rate MSU will be lucky to keep Logie around for the same number of seasons they had Sprinkle for.

Re: MBB is. EWU
What a great way to start of Bobcat basketball's favorite month! That was awesome. Two finesse teams trying to knock the crap out of each other as neither could shoot it. EWU missed quite few free throws and missed a ton of threes. We caught them on the right night. We shot poorly but made up for it in hustle. Rebounds and turnovers were they key.
EWU is long. They end up with mismatches when they're on offense. Logie had to put in John Olmsted in the first half because Walker got banged up and Nduka was in foul trouble. Big John's length was a big help-along with Jaden Geron in helping us hold on to our 8 point lead. We couldn't score to stretch it, but they didn't score either. That was a real key.
Robert Ford-best player on the floor again. Sometimes he would get stuck on a 6'10" guy due to rotations and he somehow poke it away time and time again.
Fricken Eastern-they're all juniors. Wins over them are to be cherished.
Gotta beat Idaho on Saturday. Hopefully Goracke finds his touch. We're not going to win many more when he's that cold.

Sitting on the second row and close to the action, this was really a hard fought game. Our guys play with a lot of heart and effort. Really a fun game to watch in person. Watching on TV just isn't the same. Great crowd. Loud. Band, cheerleaders, dance squad all great. Good show in the student end zone.
If you take a close look at EWU's season schedule, they are a tough team and will not lose many games. This was really a great win by the Cats and the comeback by the ladies over in Cheney was icing on the cake. Go Cats!

Echoing what others have said. Logie is proving to be a phenomenal hire, as usual with Costello and this administration. This hoops program was absolutely gutted after last season and Logie comes in and says..... so what. I'm going to assemble some dudes and we're going to brawl. I love what I see so far. The most disappointing I've seen from this season (other than losing to an NAIA team), is getting thumped by the Griz on our house. I have a feeling there will be some redemption there at some point but we'll see how it plays out. GO CATS!
