Still think we need bigger bodies at the position but we definitely have a good amount of quality depth now. Grebe, Eiden, Seymour, and Alston should still make up the Top 4 but we have a lot more quality players to compete for time this year. Parsons and Frederickson are a year older and stronger plus Crews and Korom should compete right away. Last year at this time we kind of had 4 to roll into the rotation so things are developing nicely.

I have to disagree. He was average at best most of the time. He seemed more worried about getting kicks off as quickly as possible than actually making good kicks. He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great either.

Kautzman is listed as a punter and a kicker. I know he was a good kicker in high school, but how was his punting? I never got to see him play.

He was listed as #2 on both Kicker and Punter last year's depth chart.
But we aren't going to punt very often this year. Extra points, that is going to be a busy position for him.

Also I noticed Kaegun Williams is still on the roster….. maybe I imagined it but I thought we retired? I might be thinking of someone else. Wasn’t he slated as the starter last year (due to Ifanse being out) before injury?

I think your correct.....I remember him going thru 'Senior Day' at the Brawl and thinking....he was a Bobcat for a year but never saw the field. I believe he came from SDSU (the one by the ocean)

Yeah, everyone thought it was over after the preseason diagnosis and then either right before or after the season ended the talk was that he was looking good enough to give it one last shot. I assume he'll still be on scholarship so there must be legitimate hope on all sides.
