This guy has a ton of offers, some decent FBS ones, and yet is a zero star on 247.ND0479 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 7:04 pmhttps://twitter.com/theorinr/status/153 ... 0ZmOR_jWw

A lineman with a bunch of potential turns a good Bobcat camp into an offer.
Talon is that classic undersized defensive lineman with a motor that runs hot and technique that beats bigger lineman. I'm glad MSU offered early because he's going to dominate his senior season.Bozcat003 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 10:16 pmhttps://twitter.com/marsh_talon/status/ ... Ti5dfU20w
Good to see some MT offers. Surprised his teammate, Hayden Opitz hasn’t received an offer yet
I know Buehler is a Griz legacy kid, so I can see why Cats haven’t offered him. Probably the same with Gurnsey at Butte High. What about Tom Carter at Capital? That 10.83 speed in the 100 is impressive.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:41 amTalon is that classic undersized defensive lineman with a motor that runs hot and technique that beats bigger lineman. If Hayden Opitz isn't deserving of a FCS scholarship given his talent as a football player and pedigree as a student, I don't know what is one. He's not limited by size or athleticism either. One of the better power forwards in the state in basketball. I simply dont understand what the Cats or Griz are waiting for when it comes to offering him. In my opinion he should've been one of the first offers. I'm high on Zach Tierney out of Butte but the lineman offered by Montana schools so far are Anderson, Buehler, and Carr. However, I understand teams having a difference of opinion on lineman recruits. But with Opitz, the profile is so strong...and then just watch the tape to see for yourself. A lot of time left to still offer but it's definitely puzzling.
Montana recruits offered so far by MSU:
Reed Harris (commited to Boston College)
Jacob Anderson (has close to 10 FBS offers)
Cole Taylor (CMR QB and ATH)
Adam Jones (Missoula Sentinel RB/WR/S)
Everett Carr (Bozeman OL recruit)
Working out in his front yard. Putting in the work.
Really like this kid. Good quickness. And strong. Benched 225 for 22 times before taking any snaps his senior year in high school.
It always makes me suspicious when a kid Tweets out he has an offer, but no coaches are following him.
You’re right. He is also 2024. I’ll move him for now.
Just curious....Is there a Montana kid from the past 10-ish years that you'd use as a comp for Hayden Opitz?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:41 amTalon is that classic undersized defensive lineman with a motor that runs hot and technique that beats bigger lineman. Looks like Jacob Anderson committed to Oregon State.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:41 amTalon is that classic undersized defensive lineman with a motor that runs hot and technique that beats bigger lineman.
