Bold Predictions
Figured with camp in a bit of a lull and not as much to talk about, it would be fun to see what everyone's bold predictions would be.
I was reading the article on the Gazette from yesterday and it was mentioned that Kassis had 55 catches for 663 yards and 3 TDs last year, and it got me thinking... If he could do that with the passing attack we had last year what could he do this year? I am going to make a bold prediction(s) and say he will have 90 + catches, 1100 + yards, and 10+ TDs.

That is definitely bold. Especially with the offense that we run.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:40 amFigured with camp in a bit of a lull and not as much to talk about, it would be fun to see what everyone's bold predictions would be.

Last year those numbers would have put him 2nd in catches (behind Doss), 4th in yards (Webster, Gueller, Doss), and 2nd/3rd in TDs (Akem, Webster).

We'll pass for more this year, but we won't pass a lot.
I'm gonna say we get 35+ sacks and a turnover margin of +10.

I'm predicting that Ifanse stays healthy and breaks the season rushing record for the Cats!

Re: Bold Predictions
You said bold, so I’ll predict Bauman completes more passes for more yards and more touchdowns than Kelly Bradley.

I will bet that Bauman will be an all conference selection. Also believe we will be in the top three in offensive output in the league

Re: Bold Predictions
I don't believe coach Choate will stay from our run-first model so, thinking (hopeful) that our passing production will increase about 60 yards per game which will be an increase from 140.5/game to around 200/game. Over a 12 game year that will lead to just over 2400 yards through the air. I know its not too bold, but think that will be what it will take (in terms of yard anyway) to make defenses honor both the run and pass.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:40 amFigured with camp in a bit of a lull and not as much to talk about, it would be fun to see what everyone's bold predictions would be.

Re: Bold Predictions
I'll predict we have four 500 yard rushers. Ifanse and Troy are locks as long as they're healthy. Then Logan Jones and one of the other guys only have to average ~40 yds/gm.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Re: Bold Predictions
That is bold, but possible, frizz have a hard conference schedule this year, MSU, Eastern, UC Davis and Weber. Their #ReturnTo(being)Dominated will continue 11/22/19Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 6:53 amI'll predict that Cat/Griz will be for the conference championship.

Re: Bold Predictions
Bobcats will have 2 1000 yard rushers. Just like last year but this year it'll be Ifanse and somebody other than TA.

Re: Bold Predictions
Chase Benson is 1st Team all Big Sky.
I think this is the year that he puts it all together and just Destroys people. Over the last couple years we have seen glimpses of what he can do. Good example being "the stuff" at the end of cat griz last year. Watching Chase absolutely embarrass the OL guy he is facing, is one of my favorite parts of that entire play (which I have watched about 300 times at this point, ha).
One of the strongest/biggest/most athletic guys on the team, hard worker, year 4 in the program... I am expecting to see a "Zach Minter" type of season out of Chase these next 2 years.

Throw out the Texas Tech game, but other than that our PPG allowed on defense will be 16, first in the league.
