Is Kramer THAT good a coach?

Is Kramer THAT good a coach?

Post by Billings_Griz » Thu Feb 09, 2006 2:24 pm

I mean, afterall, his record speaks for itself.

I know, I know, 3 wins over the good guys but c'mon, w/o Lulay he probably would have been gone a couple years ago.

I expect things in Bozo to get worse before they get better.

He has taken a team that was in the gutter and brought them to a top 25 team with a share of three BSC titles in the past four years. Unfortunately for friz fans things are only getting better for the Cats. And without DD and Johnny Montana the friz would not have won those titles in 95' and 01'. :P

I, for one, would've been thrilled to see him leave.

I think a lot of people are going to be surprised by the Cats this season without Travis. You see it all the time in sports - the star graduates, retires, whatever and the whole team steps up. I think we depended on Travis to do it all alone too often and without that safety net, the other players are going to have to do it themselves. I also think our offense will be far more balanced and that makes a QB's job way easier. Travis did volumes of good for the program but I don't think his moving on spells doom for us.

And no, I was not responding to Bearassed. I think there is a general fear amongst Cat fans and a general hope amongst griz fans that this happens.

You are right on the money. After we thumped UM this year, Kramer said that we had seen a glimpse of what Bobcat football would look like after TL. He was pretty much a non-factor during the game (Injured), and we punched them on the mouth with a dominating defense and a kick-a$$ running game... 8) That will be our recipe for success for the next few years IMO. The best part about it is that our passing game will be there too, if needed.

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Who had more of a positive impact on the 02 game Lulay or Edwards?

I'm much more upbeat about the 'Cats future under Coach K and his staff. the returnees, and the recruiting class than I would be if I were a fan of the griz with bh, etc.

Who do you think moves up to a 1A job first Krammer or Hauck?

The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.

I think it would be a damn shame for Bobby to leave Mizzou

They both suck, but I hope Hauck stays there for 10 years.
