However, RJ got to use his redshirt last year so he is only a sophomore.

TE position lost three seniors last year: Connor Sullivan, Curtis Amos, and Wilson Brott. However, MSU has the potential to replace all three of those guys with similar skilled players such as Jacob Hadley (Connor Sullivan), Ryan Davis (Curtis Amos), and Jarett Kessler (Wilson Brott). Derryk Snell could also work into that H-back role behind Davis. Treyton Pickering and Ryan Lonergan are also talented freshman (Treyton being a redshirt) who maybe could compete early.

I figured with the depth at the position that there’d be a decent chance he red shirts.
Sounds like he could be a hell of a player, but it’d be nice if he was two years behind Ifanse.

With the new 4 game rule last year, it doesn't seem unlikely. I think that's the best change the NCAA has done, gives the young guys some playing time without burning a year.

Just did a quick look and their are lots of signing day guys not yet on the online roster. I assume it's still a work in progress.

Currently there are 93 players listed on the online roster. However, I would pay zero attention to that number because it includes several PWOs who will be participating once school starts. Here are the freshman/transfers who have yet to be added to the online roster:

#72 - Anthony Session II
#71 - Jack Vering
#70 - Holden Sampson
#65 - Justus Perkins
#64 - Ethan Ormes
#62 - Dylan Porter (Nevada Transfer)
#49 - Tyson Regimbal (JC Transfer)
#39 - Cole Oster
#35 - Joe Olson
Tyrone Marshall, Jr. (Transfer)

Tanner Trafton
Blake Thelen
Brock Spiegelberg
Dom Brown (rumor has it he will be in Bozeman instead of electing to go the JC route)

They are still assigning numbers. Do I hate the way MSU updates/maintains their online roster throughout the year? Absolutely.

Remind me, where are all these guys from and what position. I knew 6 months ago. Now.....
