Has anyone looked at UM's schedule???? Has to be the easiest Big Sky schedule in history. Their only decent opponents are us and UC Davis and both of those games are in Missoula. Their only sort of tough road game is at UND. Somehow they don't play EWU, ISU or Weber which are among the closest teams geographically to Missoula. (We play all three). Their road Big Sky games are Cal Poly (1-4), Southern Utah (0-4), Idaho (2-2) and North Dakota (3-2). Their Big Sky opponents are currently a cumulative 13-19. They could sleepwalk through their schedule and go 6-2.
Is it any wonder I am convinced that somebody in Missoula has sold their soul to the devil?

Add ISU to our tough schedule....they look like they are for real especially at home. October is going to be tougher than we thought. Idaho doesn't look overpowering. They struggled with PSU, although their defense shut them down.

MSU played 2 of the top 5 teams in the nation, and 4 of 11 games are vs teams currently in the top 20.
The griz have 0 games against the top 5, and just 1 game against the current top 20.

How cute Catatrophy / Ursas, a new profile.
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That mediocrity would be sitting at 4-1 with the same schedule.

We want your schedule. We would be 5-0. Of course you dont actually have a legitimate comment on your weak schedule since it is true.

I like the fact that griz fans think their team is good because of wins against weak teams (see 2017 schedule). Overrated and over confident. The inevitable fall will be sweet once again...

Welcome, newest griz troll.
No conspiracy, conference schedule is just luck of the draw. But there's no denying that your griz have a cake schedule once again this year. At least not for a reasonable fan, which probably doesn't include you.

By the way Idaho wraps up their season with a game at Florida. Odd to have a payday game at the end of your schedule.

Griz definitely lucked out with an easier conference schedule this year. I know many Griz fans are upset we aren't playing Eastern this year, since they are no longer a protected rival.

the combined record of missoula city college opponents including Portland State is 10-15
You don't play the league leaders and two playoff teams Eastern or Weber
Beat UC-Davis by 50 and win out you'll make the playoffs, not happening

I would expect both the Cats and Griz to make the playoffs with an 8-3 record.

Your fans really shouldn't be upset you aren't playing Eastern this year.

Hard to understand how Griz fans can be trolling. Granted they are 4-1, but they were spotted 14 points by Cal Poly in the initial 10 minutes of the game. Take away those scores and it is 34-28 against the last place team in the conference that was beat 70-14 last week. CP had two backs rush for over 100 yards each and their safety had 17 tackles. That is a lot of second level tackles. I am only looking at the box scores, but those are not real positive indicators.

Dante Olson is a monster LB. We could use a guy like him.
