Was visiting w/ a couple fellows who are at all the practices and they think Konkol stays and Gilman plays ?RobertCats wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:46 pmSOB, I knew Kanow missed the scrimmage because of a knee, but was not sure how severe it was. Konkol-LB, Alleyne and Henderson at Safety is not a bad contingency plan though.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:44 pmBecause of Kanow being injured, would not be surprised if Konkol went back down to Will. Tadan Gilman has been impressive but experience is so crucial.bobcatbob wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:32 pmI do not think we will see Kanow for a while because of his knee injury. However, I do think we will be fine a LB. Yes, we are young, but a ton of talent. Add in Sterk and Sparaco plus a bigger and healthy Fa'anono and we are in really good shape.RobertCats wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 10:46 amI hear ya, I remember this article from the spring from Skyline, seems like Choate always gushed about Kanow. Not very positive on WR. They’re going to substitute a lot there anyways. LB is the same way. Jalen Cole might not “start” but he’s our NB which we’ll see a lot.
If he has increased strength and has put on a little more weight than the roster says, look out.

Assuming Kanow is hurt and Konkol stays at safety. Who is Gilmans backup at that LB spot?

I forgot Maleek Barkley on my depth chart!!
Between RB and WR, he should be getting at least 10 touches a game. He’s dynamic.

Re: Depth chart is done
I have to think that Barkley is going to get touches in the backfield along with Infanse. He didn't know a thing about the playbook and still looked impressive to everyone including Coach Choate.
No one is putting Lance McCutcheon opposite of Kassis? I think he is the other receiver and then lots of rotational stuff with all the other guys and certain packages.
Also listening to a lot of coaches pressers, I think the plan is to have Thomas and Cole as the starting corners and then when we go nickel he will move inside and Filer comes in, but I could've misheard that.

Your whole team is playing both ways. It's a little bizarre that you're hyperventilating over the current BSC FOTY playing both sides.

Scat acts like he is 12 years old and is trying to make a homophobic joke about going both ways. It's just silly and stupid, but that is his modus operandi.

The term is swings both ways not plays both ways. Joke attempts have a better chance when the comedian is up to speed on these things.

I recon he has both football teams' rosters so that he can prepare for his broadcast. If only SWX sports would do the same.
