Well with Lulay graduating, don't the bad guys need a QB?

Just from the vibes I got from Kramer (here say and press) I don't think he was really HIGH on Selle (I may be wrong). Everywhere I have been hearing is that it was Desin and Larson that he was after. This could be that he probably knew maybe that Selle was going to the Griz maybe as well. There are a lot of politics in recruiting I'm sure so who is to say Hauck didn't have Selle in the bag and have Selle try and keep it hidden just to have MSU still try and use their time/resources to try and land him etc. I"m not saying this is true, but you never know. I'm sure there is a lot of that which goes on from time to time in college recruiting (especially with rivals).

No, the Cats really wanted Selle. That's why they offered him last spring-before the Griz did.

I hope this doesn't turn into "No we didn't want him that bad"....."Yes you did and we got him"

if you're keeping score, France gave us Burgundy wine, cigarettes, berets, B.O., brie and the Napoleon complex-Bill Simmons

Like I said, I don't know for sure on any of this. I was just speculating etc. We will see how it goes. He is definately a good player, so whoever lands him is getting a very quality football player.

Maybe this means Swogger is coming?

Or maybe Larsen is coming.

Who knows anything at this point.

I'm sure there is a lot of that which goes on from time to time in college recruiting (especially with rivals).
The other day on the radio they had Coach Tarkanian talking about when he was recruiting a player to UNLV for basketball and Larry Brown was with UCLA trying to get the same player. Tark was at the kids house on signing day and the kid was waiting for a last minute phone call from Brown. The phone rang and Tark had his assistant answer the phone and tell the recruit it was the University of Oregon, the recruit said to tell them he wasn't there. Brown never got through and the recruit went to UNLV. I'm sure there is all kinds of fun recruiting wars between instate rivals.
