1. If he is not a member of the football team why we he use the football facilities? Other EWU students wouldn't have access?

I don't really think it is a case of sour grapes. Baldwin needs to protect his team and the team harmony.

Yeah, I wouldn't let a QB for another school use my facilities either. That seems like a no-brainer.

Baldwin said today on Portland radio that he and Adams Jr. had discussed this as far back as last November, and that no specific schools were mentioned in that conversation. It was right around the time Baldwin was saying he'd interview for the Oregon State job. This possibility wasn't a surprise to EWU, at least according to their head coach.

papa I think your wife or maybe one of your kids got on your account! it's the only explanation of the post above. not one mention of gross injustices, special treatment for certain posters, broad political generalizations, paranoia, or ebola!

I hope this is not because you are ill or hurt that they were able to do this. perhaps you were able to enjoy big things in your family like a new addition last week and you saw the light! for whatever reason, the post above has zero credibility because there is no way it came from papaG!

Hopefully this is the end of all this. I still don't think baldwin or ewu is happy about it, but a rule is a rule and they shouldn't have made it as public as they did, it just created way more problems than it needed too.

I hope adams does well at oregon except in week 1 where I hope he gets crushed. Completely understand baldwin not letting him into the football facilities moving forward...

As for ash and his comments, completely respect the guy he really put himself out there for the better of the big sky and the fcs. Regardless if he is right or wrong it's nice to see him stand up for the bsc and fcs...

There is no way in H E double hockey sticks that I am letting a player who is going to be on the roster of my opponent the first game of the season in my facilities or even my office. Look at it as a business decision. If you are the CEO of McDonald's, are you keeping your CFO around for 3 months if just announced that he is going to be the next CEO of Burger King? There is no way Baldwin should take any heat for that. Allowing them to put in red turf, yes! But this, not so much.

With all due respect, I think you're crazy. I don't expect the starting job to be handed to him, but he's definitely the front runner. And while EWU's backup played fairly well last year, their offense was not the same while VA was injured. I watched their game against NAU, and there's no way they would have lost that game, if he had played. In 37 games he completed 65% of his passes, for 10,438 yards (9.7 per attempt), and 110 TD, with only 31 INT, plus 1,232 yards rushing. I won't go so far as to say that he's definitely the best QB in the history of the conference, but if he had played at EWU next season, he would have broken just about every record in the book for QB in the BSC. Like him or not, you can't ignore the facts.

And oh btw, West had a QB rating of 143.5 with a TD::int of 9:1. He'll be better this year after getting all the spring/fall snaps rest assured.

West also took an undefeated EWU team into Flagstaff and lost to NAU.

With VA they win that game easy.
