TOTAL DOMINATION.

Post by El_Gato » Sun Nov 20, 2005 10:36 am

So THAT'S the team we were expecting to see ALL season! They're not too bad!

Seriously, hats off to the entire team & coaching staff; what a fantastic effort vs the #1 I-AA team in America! My "critical" comments will wait for another thread but yesterday was simply a near-perfect effort by everyone wearing Blue & Gold.

Thank you to Travis, Mac, Nick, and ALL the 4-year guys for lifting the Bobcats out of the cellar and restoring pride to the Bobcat Nation! 3 Big Sky Championships, 3 wins over the Griz, and hundreds of great memories!

You deserve to crow El_Gato, but be a little honest. What was on the field was a pretty poor showing for what you like to call "The Almightly Griz".

That's not an "excuse"... we didn't do what had to be done, and your guys did. You absolutely deserve congratulations. But let's think twice about proclaiming the Cats were "near perfect". If they had (do?) make it into the playoffs, I doubt they'll go long or far. Yeah, I know, neither will we - I agree. Which is a good way to sum up my point... neither of us were much good this year.

Hey, know where we can get a good OC?

Sorry, loozah, but the Cats DID play a near-perfect game yesterday - if Hastings 4th FG is a foot to the right, Lulay moves the ball 6 more inches at the goalline and Force watches the ball instead of the receiver on the Griz's ONLY TD, the score would've been 26 - 0 and THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AS PERFECT AS POSSIBLE. We were literally inches away from a perfect game, loozah, therefore, the NEAR-PERFECT game comment. Do you get it yet?

But, you are correct about one thing: We DID see the REAL Griz team yesterday, and all I can say is "OVERRATED". You will probably get & maybe win a home game next Saturday, but if you end up on the road OR with a quality team in WaGriz, your season's over as well. I knew the Griz O was bad, but WOW....

Well, this is no time to debate you about how "perfect" the Cats were or were not (choke, choke). I'll just agree with your conclusion, and move on.

But first, one little thing. I notice you changed your signature. I understand your needs, but If the Cats have that right, then certainly we do. Perhaps the most honorable thing this year, is to let EWU have that to themselves?

HUH?

I haven't changed my signature in a long time, and what exactly does a Monty Python quote have to do with us & Eastern?

I'm afraid you've TOTALLY lost me, looza.

"It's just a flesh wound" may be one of the MOST recognizable lines from one of the funniest scenes in the history of film, and YOU DON'T REMEMBER IT????

Wow. Kids, once again, beware the dangers of excessive marijuana use...

Is it possible that mazoo is looking at your location instead of your signature El?

I couldn't honestly say if that's changed or not.

Total domination? Give me a frikin break. Cats did well, very well indeed. But EL, you call the Griz mediocre. And given that the Cats scored three, that's 3, points in the second half, can you honestly say it was "total domination?" Come now, look you old grampy in the eye, and tell me, did you really see "total domination?"

I thought not.

That's a sweet offense you have in Missoula.

That was the most dominating 10 point victory I can remember seeing.

Did the Griz even top 225 total yards?

What a yawner. I watched the game at a friend's house here and we were all laughing at the Grizzlies. I can't remember the last time that happened.

I don't think I would disagree with your points there PapaG. But tell me.... what the heck are you talking about?

My q to EL was where did he see total domination. YOU aren't defending that assanine assertion here, are you?

The Bobcats dominated this game.

370 yards of offense versus 220. Frankly, the Griz were lucky to only lose by 10.

I do wish you guys well in the playoffs, however. Good luck and I hope I get a chance to watch another Griz game on ESPN.

Good game Cats, you kicked our ass. You beat us at our own game, defense, special teams, and field position. I'm glad Lulay is finally gone.

As a Griz fan, I can hnestly say that it was embarrassing. It was indeed total domination. And, the final score was not indicative how just how badly the Cats won. It could have been, and should have been much worse.

I agree that it was total domination. The score could/should have been a lot worse. I never felt the outcome was in doubt - ever. If you can't say that you really were not paying much attention.

Other than playing at home I don't think the griz have any chance in the playoffs. That is the worst griz team I have seen in a long time. If I were a betting man, I would venture that a new QB will be guiding the O next year.
